We started off with only two units and it took a little while to get used to talking to Alexa butt we are slowly getting the hang of it because there is so much she can do. We just bought another four units to give our friends for Christmas so everyone could enjoy it.

This is great for kids to be able to experience the Alexa voice for their rooms!

We bought the echo dot to use outside or in the garage. It’s small so it’s really easy to moved around to wherever you want it. The only downfall is that it doesn’t play music as loudly as Alexa but we don’t care. We’re very happy with our purchase.

This was gifted to me and I probably would never have bought one for myself, but am finding it useful in the kitchen. I use Alexa to give me weather reports and quick news briefings. When I'm cooking it's very convenient to be able to play a Pandora station and skip songs without having to clean my hands after chopping stuff. You can set a kitchen timer quickly and easily, too.

We use this product everyday for music, weather, and math homework. It is great!

I have a total of 5 where was this 10 years ago. Almost done with my smart home.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a handy little assistant that responds well to voice commands as long as you know what to ask it. It requires a little bit of learning but once you get the hang of it you will master it quickly. The sound quality is what you'd expect with a speaker of this size which is not much so make sure you place it in an area that is open and not blocked by anything.

It does pretty good things when you ask questions. Always use this echo to set alarm for wake up call. And it answers everything you want to know. Got the Amazon tablet also and did the same thing. Beautiful. You will like it. 5 stars Amazon!

We bought 2 echo dots for the kitchen and master's bedroom. Everyone in the family was having fun working with Alexa and easily connects to other bluetooth or wifi devices esp. with Nest products. It's like having a housekeeper or a nanny for my kids...

We purchased the Echo Dot as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law and they absolutely love it. They go to it all the time instead of the assistant on their phone. They are full time Rv'ers and use it to find things to do and help move around all over the US.

So many things I like about this. Music, questions answered. Order items with it.

The echo dot can do most anything you want it to. It can play music, tell jokes, play games, control light and many other home automation items. I love the fact that it can hear you so well. You can talk in a normal voice just as you would anyone else in your house. The only short comming is some google style questions she can't answer. But for my use she does everything!

Little confusing setting up but I was able to get it done with the help of amazon. You can set up the Dot using a laptop no smart phone needed.

I connected an android and an iPhone and both experienced some set backs. The call feature works pretty good with android and to no surprise struggles with iPhones. Only one “user” can use their Spotify and it has to be the “primary” user. There is a way around being able to use another user’s Spotify, but it’s easier to connect via Bluetooth to an actual speaker. Alexa can’t understand questions as easily as the google home. With Alexa questions have to be very specific and direct. Since Alexa doesn’t use google, she also doesn’t have answer to many questions you can google faster on your phone. However, Alexa is still pretty fun. The alarm worked great. Using the IFTTT app I was able to use my iPhone calendar. There also a lot of fun “skills” you can allow Alexa to have, such as, asking what’s on Bob’s Burgers chalkboard: burger of the day. The downside to the task is the unnecessary long phrases that have to be said to use the skills. Overall, Alexa can be fun to use, but not for more “advanced” skills.

This product is awesome. It's a great way of trying out Alexa without buying an echo. If you don't care about big sound because u already have a Bluetooth stereo this is the device for u. U can Bluetooth, link wireless switches, outlets, light bulbs, and thermostats.
