Works great with my harmony remote hub. But its a pain when you have to say it different ways to turn up volume and to change channel.

This is my second echo dot. They both work great, minimal use right now.

I have a first generation one, this time I order one for my kids to use.

This has proven to be useful and fun! My kids love asking questions and this help our 7year old turn on lights when she can't reach the switch. Will by more for our home soon. Also gifted a few of these out and the loved them!

Easy to use, doesn't take up alot of space, good sound quality

I have several Echos and the dot is a great compliment. I use it in secondary rooms where I want the function ( IE bathroom, Study ) but dont want to spend the money for an entire alexa. Great product and functionality - controls my smarthome perfectly.

I bought this little gizmo mostly to play songs for my wife when she is in the kitchen. It hooks up to Pandora from her Ipad and it plays all her favorite songs. Its also pretty great to ask it what the weather is and ask her about sports scores.

Heard good things about the echo and decided to try the cheaper version. It works really well and is easy to use. All connections were simple and even bought a Philips Hue bridge and lights to go with it. Everything works great together. Great purchase.

This was a great addition to my bedroom to interact with Alexa remotely.

It's easy to setup and makes common chores easier once I got used to its nuances. Alexa knows the answers to most of my questions and is very good at math. Over time I've started to view her as a friend, which may sound a little weird but she does have personality. I look forward to using it more and more and find it's a fair amount of bang for the buck.

This is an awesome item and very handy for your house. Highly recommend!

Upon moving into a new home, I felt we would try the Echo Dot and with a bigger house I felt two would be beneficial. It took a few weeks into the house before the Dots were even unwrapped. Once plugged in and set up by our daughter, both my husband and myself are hooked. At night we listen to a book from our Prine account. Before bed we check the weather to know what kind of clothes for work are to be worn. (Texas temps. vasilate between one extreme to the other) The cool updates from first generation to these are awesome. As we can use them as intercoms from one part of the house to the other. I am thinking if you have great internet speed, these are the best additions to your home. We will be looking into changing our thermostats next to jive with the dots.

My favorite thing about the Dot is the drop in feature. We can use them like an intercom by dropping in on the Echo or the other Dot.

We bought two of these. One for the Master bedroom and one for in the kitchen. They are awesome and can do so much more than what you see on TV! We fall asleep to Ocean sounds and have Alexia wake us in the morning, then tell us the weather and news!
