I love that Alexa is always listening and can play music at any request. I bought one for my sister who doesn’t have prime and I noticed that she can’t access as much as I can. So that’s a good thing to take into consideration. Also Alexa is not Google, so she doesn’t know as much as Google but close enough. Definitely a big bang for the buck!

We got an Echo for Christmas and it's handy in the kitchen for playing music, setting a hands free timer, checking equivalent measures. This new Echo dot in the basement office is getting a lot of use as a nifty intercom to the upstairs.

We have an Alexa but it's nice to have the dot for when we're upstairs.

We have one of these in the office where we already have music so didn't go for the larger one in that case. You can pair bluetooth speakers or use line out if you want to, but mostly just use mine to control our Hue lights or get weather updates, etc.

I got the Amazon echo for my wife. We have it in our bedroom so we can get multiple use out of it. We play music, ask about weather, get sports updates, alarms, and many more great features. We love it.

We bought the dot to give it a try and it is awesome! We liked it so much that we ended up buying the Echo (which has a larger speaker). We put the dot in our bathroom and love getting updates and listening to music while getting ready!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my teenage son and he absolutely loves it. Every morning I hear him ask it for the weather and I've heard him ask it questions when he needs help with homework. We haven't had any issues with it.
