what i got is a christmas gift for my hubby so it has nit been used yet

Upon moving into a new home, I felt we would try the Echo Dot and with a bigger house I felt two would be beneficial. It took a few weeks into the house before the Dots were even unwrapped. Once plugged in and set up by our daughter, both my husband and myself are hooked. At night we listen to a book from our Prine account. Before bed we check the weather to know what kind of clothes for work are to be worn. (Texas temps. vasilate between one extreme to the other) The cool updates from first generation to these are awesome. As we can use them as intercoms from one part of the house to the other. I am thinking if you have great internet speed, these are the best additions to your home. We will be looking into changing our thermostats next to jive with the dots.

I'm enjoying this as much as my kids. Its handy and convenient to ask Alexa, when your hands are busy, or you are too lazy to open your gadget. So much simpler to set it up...only drawback, is you must have and Amazon a/c or more importantly Prime.

I love that Alexa is always listening and can play music at any request. I bought one for my sister who doesn’t have prime and I noticed that she can’t access as much as I can. So that’s a good thing to take into consideration. Also Alexa is not Google, so she doesn’t know as much as Google but close enough. Definitely a big bang for the buck!

We got an Echo for Christmas and it's handy in the kitchen for playing music, setting a hands free timer, checking equivalent measures. This new Echo dot in the basement office is getting a lot of use as a nifty intercom to the upstairs.

I recently got an echo dot for christmas and soon after bought another echo dot to put in another part of my house. I mainly use my echo dot to control my phillips smart lights, but its also good for news/weather updates and a whole slew of other things... Long story short for $50bucks this thing is a Great Buy.. Trust me you will find multiple uses for it.

I'm a Google Fan, but Amazon has hit it out of the park on this. Google Music needs to come up with a way to integrate with the Echo quickly. Haven't bought anything by voice yet, but it has told me recent deals and provided status on order delivery.

I love this product. Alexa makes my day faster and organized every day.

I really enjoy being able to control different things around the house.
