This really i a brilliant little device. It recognizes my voice and responds every time. I'm finding new functionality weekly. Voice control of my lights, my thermostat, my tv. New, weather, music on demand. Best purchase of the past year.

I have my dot hooked to an audio system to play music for me but is also adds the ability to control my home automation system with your voice. Alexa is the best voice control system I have found and I have tried everything available today.

We have 7 of them The man knows what we do and smell. Hahaha

We use it to give us the weather, the morning news and tell a joke! It is a very handy device, we plan to give it to our grown children. If you link with amazon prime the music choices are unlimited. Still trying to figure out all it can do

We bought this with a Bose speaker, as a replacement for our old kitchen radio. Interaction with the speaker is great and it's a nice perk to simply request the music we want to hear with our voice instead of turning a knob.

This is on the nightstand. Alexa will wake you up, read the news, read you a bedtime story, and shut off the hue lights. The speakers are about as good as an iPhone. The original echo has a super good sound. But this is fine for the bedroom.

It'd be fun to have one in every room. Only unknown is whether Amazon is secretly recording every conversation in the house.

Bought this as a gift for my very NOT techy husband and he is having a great time with it. We love the unlimited music for only $99 per year prime Amazon membership. Lots of potential to add other features,, a great deal for a small price.

i got this because i work late all the time and by the time i get home its dark out, and i use lifx lights and am always struggling to see in my room at night. With this all i do is use my voice and no more darkness for me! Really useful!

We bought this to be in our living room. It works great. The sound was just not to our liking. We use it in our bedroom now.
