I bought an Echo and two Echo Dot2 generation and i use it mostly for playing music in my kitchen, living room and bedroom. But I use it for a lot of things. Once you figure out how to use it, it makes life so much easier.

I was better off buying in the store than doing order online. I waited an extra week while merchandise was in the store.

Pretty good for those using Amazon Echo but not as great got those using Google home

I love this thing. I can get all kinds of information just by asking Alexa, listen to radio shows, set an alarm or timer. New functions are being added all the time. I've given several away as gifts and my friends just love them.

The echo is a good way too control your devices in your home.

I got the Echo when it originally came out. It was so useful in the kitchen, but a little pricey. I purchased the Dot for bedroom & it is AWESOME! Small footprint, controls my lights & thermostat & reasonably priced. A must have item!

Love this little device, great for playing for tunes, ordering your weekly store goods, controlling kids access to tv, 1000's of uses. Loud enough for the bedroom, capable of linking to sonos or bose speakers too. Excellent value.

after getting the alexa, another dot, i had to get one more. this thing is do cool. plays your music, gives you traffic updates (your work route) it basically does everything you can imagine and always having new features. love it!!!

Every time you ask the product about something it always says I don’t know that one. I ask for Anita Baker, the product says she doesn’t know but then turns around and plays the whole album on its own when I asked for smooth jazz. This machine acts as if it doesn’t know any African-American music. When I ask for a specific person like Otis Redding or something it’ll give me a white old is singer.

I'm not using it as an assistant. I just want it to play my music all day long and it is great .. !! Sound quality, is not the best out there, but look at the size and price of it, it's great! My opinion, totally worth it
