This dot was purchased to add music and control of my home automation products from another room. Works as expected.

Great product to add to our existing amazon infrastructure

Love it! I love how I can verbally ask for a song or genre of music to be played. Or how I can ask what the weather will be while getting ready for work in the morning with out having to stop and search for it on the internet.

Was interested in getting an Echo, but saw that the dot was smaller, and thought it would fit into placed better. So far it has been a hit, and I am even using it for things that I did not think of . All in all, a good purchase.

I bought this for my parents and didn't think it would get much use. It's been a month and my parents use it often. If my dad can use it then anyone can use it. If anyone is looking to purchase this for someone older, go for it.

I started with one Echo, then another, now, my whole home has a Echo Dot in every room, even my garage. If you have a very strong Wi-Fi Signal as I do in my home, these Echo Dot's work fabulous.

I use it in my kitchen for Music, Setting Timers, Adding Items to My Shopping List, Getting weather reports and traffic reports. She hears me from the next room too. I have Alexa on my FireStick but don't always have the TV on.

Love these things, they make note taking and reminders easier. My kids get weather updates and drop in on us in other rooms to find us. We also have trivia nights and use Alexa to settle disputes.

These are great little devices if you want all the functionality of Alexa but don't need the full sound of a full-sized echo. Love that they are constantly adding skills and updating the software!

We have an Alexa in our kitchen and wanted something smaller in the bedroom, so we got the dot. Works just like the echo but the speaker and doesn't sound as well as the echo, especially when playing music. But that was expected

For someone who spends a good amount of time in different areas of a home where having the Echo in one constant place doesn't help in a distant room, the Dot lets you have a lot of the same features in multiple rooms if you wish.

Alexa is easy and convenient to use in the mornings to hear my customized Flash Briefing and weather reports while getting ready for work. Alexa is also helpful in communicating the scheduled events from my calendar.

Great start to Echo Dot products. Good entry level pricing

Great start to home automation. I never expected to use this drive as much as we do. My 12 year old even checks her homework. Yes we still make her do it with no Alexa. Easy to set up on get connected living. Easy updates.

After learning how to pair various smart products to the echo, I love it. Easy to use now that I am over the learning curve. I do recommend going to the echo site before purchasing any smart devices to ensure item is compatible.
