this is my 5th have them all over. This one is going down in the basement. Have all hooked to speakers in different rooms. I tell Alexa play smooth jazz on the bedroom groups and have music through the whole house.

I bought one to use with my nest & hue smart home systems and I love it. There was a slight learning curve but now it works wonderfully. It worked so well I bought one for each of my adult family members for their homes.

I have owned this device for over a year with no issues. Great purchase for those who are newcomers and want to try out this inexpensive version. I ask for information, play games, and listen to music.

While not 100% in life, it’s pretty convenient when it comes to working together with your home automation gadgets.

I use mine with phillips hue lights. I simple say "alexa turn on lounge" and my lights come on. Some mild set up is required of course but it's well worth the efforts for some awesome sci fi lights.

My grandkids love my Echo and we're thrilled to get their own "Alexa". Easy for their parents to set up and they started to use it immediately. the grandkids have taught me some new tricks since they have their own!

What else can you say. Another great product from Amazon.

I already have echo and got dots to compliment other rooms and they work the same. I can play different music across dots. It understand my accent. Grreat for $ Love it

I bought this for my 14-year-old daughter who claims to never hear me when I'm calling her so now since I have the original Alexa I can drop in or call her. Plus she can entertain herself and get help with homework.

I loved the Echo, and the dot doesn't disappoint as a smaller version. It is nice to have the extra gadget to accent our echo in other rooms. That being said it is also a good stand alone without having the larger unit.

Purchased it for my second grader. She really enjoys it.

I have the Alexa the tall one and I just have bought two Echo dots one to put in my computer room and one to put in my bedroom I love them I've also purchased one for my granddaughter who has been in her bedroom

I use two of the dots in conjunction with my regular echo. Speaker isn’t the best but I don’t use the dots for music really. They can connect to a quality sound bar via Bluetooth to get the sound your looking for.

This is my second amazon echo dot. This thing is awesome

Good for small areas that don’t require much automation or music. Echo dot is not as seamless or responsive as it’s larger counter part. I would skip this one and get the 2nd gen if you aren’t looking to use it a lot for home automation or music. If you are, go ahead and get the Echo Plus.
