Fun and informative

It's an alarm clock, gives the news, sports, weather, tells jokes, plays music, etc. Fun & functional.

Alexa sucks just get a Google home mini

I got one of those thinking that I would be able to answers some questions but it never seems to know the answers. I recently had the chance to use a Google home mini (which is the same price as an echo) and I was amazed at how many times it was Able to do what I wanted. The only reason I could possibly imagine that you would get this over a Google home mini is because it has a headphone jack and the home mini doesn't. But even then there are ways of connecting speakers to the home mini without a headphone jack not to mention that you can't do a pretty simple DIY headphone jack for the mini.

The speaker is very quiet, so this is best used as a secondary one for voice controls and less so for listening to music.

Love it, loooking forward to more integration

I really want the Sonos integration which I have been able to program throwing together some code found on the web, but this would be difficult for the average user. It is easy to create skills and makes turning a room of lamps on and off super easy.

From playing music to answering any question, it's easy to use. You need to have an Amazon prime account to get the music or at least Pandora.
