    This was a great deal on Best Buy online. The echo dot is a lot of fun. From playing music to answering any question, it's easy to use. You need to have an Amazon prime account to get the music or at least Pandora.

    This little thing actually does a lot- and it is louder than I expected. I got myself this for Christmas - after buying 4 others for family Christmas gifts I decided I wanted one for myself. I just need to figure out how to add skills and make her (Alexa) a little more useful. But I enjoy the Echo dot.

    It works really well. Would definitely recommend some of the smart home stuff to get full benefits. The speaker is very quiet, so this is best used as a secondary one for voice controls and less so for listening to music.

    We purchased this Echo Dot as a gift so we haven't actually seen it in operation, but the recipients report that they are having a blast with it. I can't wait for them to demonstrate what they have learned to do with it!

    Love the dot, just want more items around the home to control with it. I really want the Sonos integration which I have been able to program throwing together some code found on the web, but this would be difficult for the average user. It is easy to create skills and makes turning a room of lamps on and off super easy.

    Very inexpensive way to get into the whole voice control thing. Easy to set up, voice recognition is fine. Only downside so far is commands have to be perfect to get a response. Kind of like learning a new language.
