This was purchased as a gift. Based on my prior experience with my other Dot, I know the person receiving this will absolutely love it. Easy to learn commands makes this device very useful!

It’s a great speaker it does a lot of things that Amazon echo is one of the cool little gadgets at me you need to buy. My son uses it as an alarm and he also can ask it questions and I will answer him

I love this. I get ready with music in the morning and all I have to say is Alexa play music from my Pandora list or the radio station in my area. But the best is finding the weather. It's so much fun.

I actually bought the echo for my mom and she loves it! It has all the features of the tower version and it's so small -- it's practically portable! Highly recommend if you want to give Alexa a try!

Everyone in the house loves the echo dot. The kids are always asking Alexa for jokes and fun facts. I have a semi-smart house and being able to control these smart items through Alexa is so smooth and simple.

This Dot was purchased to extend our "Alexa" capability from the main portion of the house into the bedroom and has done so quite nicely. It is all we need for that part of the house and allows us to use voice commands for the network from multiple locations, as desired. Happy with the decision.

I received an echo dot for christmas last year and love it, so I bought two for gifts this year. Its great to ask Alexa for information or just to play music while I'm doing something around the house.

Easy to setup and use. Alexa is far better than any other voice recognition out there. Seven mics let Alexa pick up my voice even from the living area amid all the noise we had during the Buckeye vs *ichigan game.

Extremely user friendly device for my shut in mom. She is afraid of tech, and this device worked out great for her. I set it up for her and she is learning all sorts of operation commands every day. She loves it!

I already own this and I love it so much, I had to buy one as a gift for my family. It's so very easy to use and convenient! Kids also love to interact with it. I can't imagine living without one now.

The Echo Dot is a very reasonably priced device that offers useful info and entertainment. If you are an Amazon Prime member, it is especially useful. I have given three of these as gifts since getting mine.

I totally love the item so far. I still haven't had the chance to play around with it since I mainly use it to play music, command the lights to be turned on/off, checking the weather, and checking the traffic.

Bought the echo dot for my mother and not being tech savvy, she was able to set it up herself. She loves the product from easy shopping, weather updates and playin music. It was her favorite gift this Christmas.

I like the convenience of having music play, weather forecast given, and trivial questions answered with just a voice command. I have bought dots for friends and family members. Great purchase.

Much more useful than I originally thought. I use it to control all of my smart home devices by voice, and it works great. Also have it paired with my Bose Mini for room filing music playback. Highly recommended!

Have the full size echo and the dot. Great Alexa function but wish it was easier to hook up to my stereo

The Echo Dot does a good job with what it's advertised to do. However, we continue to find new things it does. The To Do and Grocery Lists are very helpful, but my son also envoys asking Alexa to tell him jokes.

Great product to have around when there is no one to talk to. Like it when you can ask Alexa to play my music, to get the latest weather information and set timers and alarms without having to set them manually.

My husband wanted to buy some dots. After using the echo dot for a few months, I feel it is just okay. Not horrible but not great either. I feel the best feature is using the dot along with smart lightbulbs. Using the voice command to turn on the lights is handy. I also enjoy using the dot to play music, including a variety of kid friendly playlists. Using the alarm is nice too. However, the majority of questions I asked Alexa, she is unable to answer, which can be frustrating! As I originally said, it's not bad by any means, but I could also live without.
