Bought the echo dot for my mother and not being tech savvy, she was able to set it up herself. She loves the product from easy shopping, weather updates and playin music. It was her favorite gift this Christmas.

Much more useful than I originally thought. I use it to control all of my smart home devices by voice, and it works great. Also have it paired with my Bose Mini for room filing music playback. Highly recommended!

The Echo Dot does a good job with what it's advertised to do. However, we continue to find new things it does. The To Do and Grocery Lists are very helpful, but my son also envoys asking Alexa to tell him jokes.

My husband wanted to buy some dots. After using the echo dot for a few months, I feel it is just okay. Not horrible but not great either. I feel the best feature is using the dot along with smart lightbulbs. Using the voice command to turn on the lights is handy. I also enjoy using the dot to play music, including a variety of kid friendly playlists. Using the alarm is nice too. However, the majority of questions I asked Alexa, she is unable to answer, which can be frustrating! As I originally said, it's not bad by any means, but I could also live without.

I live my little personal assistant. I check the weather flight reservations and time. I listen to my favorite pandora satations. Turing it on as soon as i walk in the door. Great device.

Great product to have around when there is no one to talk to. Like it when you can ask Alexa to play my music, to get the latest weather information and set timers and alarms without having to set them manually.

I've been using my Dot for about 1 year. Got this for my birthday and really had no use for this. Finally started using and realized it fun to use. Does a lot. Just ask Alexa and it gets done.

This little dot is the perfect speaker for various rooms in your house! The ability to connect between speakers and to use them like intercoms is really fun and a nice little bonus. Alexa is great!

I literally have 5 of them. Bought this most recent one on a business trip because in my hotel I found I missed Alexa and it's help. I prefer the Gen1 with the turntable ring as opposed to Gen2 w buttons and the speaker is no where as good as a full sized Echo. For the money though you can't beat this.

Bought it as a present during Christmas time promotion. People who received it had all the infrastructure for the Alexa, but no Alexa itself and now they are very happy! Especially fun for kids :)

This is without a doubt one of the best purchases I've ever made. It does anything I ask of it and there always seems to be more I can do with it as time goes by.

We now have three - Its so nice to be able to control my lights and ask questions - this one is connected to my computer speakers - I know I lived well before this item - now I don't know how I lived without it.

Although I purchased this device, I'm not really crazy about it. It seems like it's a good concept, but the only thing I really use it for is a last minute check on the weather when I'm headed out for the day (and only if I remember). Maybe after some time has passed, I will get more use out of it.

I have an Echo and bought the Dot for the bedroom to compliment it. Love it just as much and the price is great, I use it to control my Hue lights and alarms and play music etc.. Love the new white color as well

This was a Christmas gift and they loved it! It was easy for them to set up and they can now even pair it with their Vector Security home security system. They love all the features and convenience of it.

I got one for Christmas, bought one for my mother for Christmas and liked it so well that I bought a 3rd one to put in our kitchen. Love asking questions and getting answers no matter where you are.

We love our Dot and use it all the time to listen to music and play trivia...she has quite the personality for an object. She tells jokes and we also can pull up Comedy channels as well.

My husband wanted a fit for Father's Day because his friend got one. Lol I didn't think he would interact as well as he does with Alexa. He loves it and so do I. Easy to install and setup. Thank you.

I have the Dot and my granddaughter was always asking Alexa questions or playing music when she came over. She liked mine so much that I decided to buy her one for her birthday. She said it was the best gift.

This is my third Alexa purchased. Easy to setup. Amazing how informative Alexa is when questions asked and her response. My 5 year old grandson loves asking her questions about dinosaurs.
