This Echo Dot was bought as a Christmas gift. After purchasing one for our home and using it for music, checking weather, controlling our thermostat and other features, we thought it was a great gift.

We now have three - Its so nice to be able to control my lights and ask questions - this one is connected to my computer speakers - I know I lived well before this item - now I don't know how I lived without it.

I literally have 5 of them. Bought this most recent one on a business trip because in my hotel I found I missed Alexa and it's help. I prefer the Gen1 with the turntable ring as opposed to Gen2 w buttons and the speaker is no where as good as a full sized Echo. For the money though you can't beat this.

I have an Echo and bought the Dot for the bedroom to compliment it. Love it just as much and the price is great, I use it to control my Hue lights and alarms and play music etc.. Love the new white color as well

Although I purchased this device, I'm not really crazy about it. It seems like it's a good concept, but the only thing I really use it for is a last minute check on the weather when I'm headed out for the day (and only if I remember). Maybe after some time has passed, I will get more use out of it.

We have an Amazon Echo, then bought two of the dots to provide coverage in other rooms. The sound isn't quite as good as the Echo, but it is acceptable, and the price was right.

Bought it as a present during Christmas time promotion. People who received it had all the infrastructure for the Alexa, but no Alexa itself and now they are very happy! Especially fun for kids :)

This little dot is the perfect speaker for various rooms in your house! The ability to connect between speakers and to use them like intercoms is really fun and a nice little bonus. Alexa is great!

This was a Christmas gift and they loved it! It was easy for them to set up and they can now even pair it with their Vector Security home security system. They love all the features and convenience of it.

I've been using my Dot for about 1 year. Got this for my birthday and really had no use for this. Finally started using and realized it fun to use. Does a lot. Just ask Alexa and it gets done.

I have the Dot and my granddaughter was always asking Alexa questions or playing music when she came over. She liked mine so much that I decided to buy her one for her birthday. She said it was the best gift.

My husband wanted a fit for Father's Day because his friend got one. Lol I didn't think he would interact as well as he does with Alexa. He loves it and so do I. Easy to install and setup. Thank you.

The echo dot is very easy to set up. I enjoy the feedback it provides and music features. I recommend you do the voice training to avoid repeating yourself. I order 2 more as gifts to others. Awesome !!!!!!!!!!

This is great for the price. You get all the same features as the one with the speaker. But you save 100 bucks. Speaker not that load but she does respond well. It is not perfect but for the price its worth it.

I absolutely love this. It's like having your own personal assistant. I would highly recommend for the techy in your house. We have ours paired with the Phillips HUE and the WEMO switches and it works amazingly.

We like her. She is fun, she controls our thermostat and sets our alarm for us when you ask her to. Using Alexa is the ultimate in laziness but worth it! You have to enable skills for her to do or answer things you ask of her. She doesn't know everything, even with skills enabled, but she is well worth $50.

I live my little personal assistant. I check the weather flight reservations and time. I listen to my favorite pandora satations. Turing it on as soon as i walk in the door. Great device.

Simple and low cost way to add Alexa in a room. We love that you can group them and play the same song across the house. It is like having a digital butler in your home.

Already had an Echo for my living room downstairs and when i saw Best Buy have the echo dot on sale, figured it would make sense to pick one up for my bedroom upstairs. So far, everything's great. No complaints.

I have fallen in love with my dot. It's one of those things that after you have it you wonder how you ever lived without it! So many uses some very practical and others just plain fun. Very highly recommended!
