I purchased the echo dot because everyone is talking about it. I love it! I listened to music and ask Alexa anything. I bought an extra speaker for it because it’s not very loud but still great!

My amazon echo is my little assistant throughout the house. I have one in just about ever major room in the home. It’s the cheapest assistant I ever had. I currently own five of them.

I like it to play music and my audible books. As a search it uses BING and we all know bing is bad. The Google Home MINI uses GOOGLE search and its much more responsive and works better. Overall all Echo DOT is good but falling short if you really want to use it for more than just music.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. But use it as well love love it. Tells me when packages have been delivered. Does alarms, played 20 questions with it. Great little gadget.

Brought this as a gift for my parents. My parents like the echo and if you love home automation could really be used to more potential than what most utilize the product for... including my parents.

Compliments our Amazon Echo Plus well, by allowing us to control our upstairs lighting, while our Echo Plus helps us control downstairs. Don't have to yell instructions down the stairs...... ;-)

I am using this in my bedroom. I love that I can ask for any genre of music and can also ask that it turn off after a designated period of time. I also ask for a weather report each morning upon awakening!

I had originally planned on just buying one, but then after using it went back to the store and bought two more for additional rooms. He sings are great really fun to use and make things a lot easier.

Had a single dot for about a year and everyone kept fighting over it. So for Christmas decided to get everyone their own. Was a great deal on black friday! Even got one for my niece.

I purchased the dot to have a surround /All home speaker. it works well just not as loud as the echo

I love all the features especially hands free calling and timers. My kids love to play music thru it. Only negative is it often doesn't recognize its name and you have to keep saying Alexa

I have a Google Home and prefer my dot. I have it hooked up to my stereo receiver and use it along with an Amazon Unlimited Music account to stream music. Sound quality through my receiver is excellent.

I'm 3d printing a gramaphone for a gen 2 dot. I've still got days left on that.. while thats going on, I hooked up the dot, second echo in home. They play well with each other.

I cannot get enough of Alexa. I'm able to order online using Alexa. I'm also able to play music just by requesting. Plus my daughters has a field day with this device and she's only three

Google Home just isn't compatible with everything, this covers the gaps and incorporates your Amazon account services and purchases. Works with KMC switches, Serious XM where Google Home doesn't

I love this little gadget! My favorite thing for Alexa to do is play my Easy Listening Radio Station! Gives me the weather report & traffic reports & more. Perfect little electronic item for this Gram!

I HAVE 2 AMAZON ECHO DOT'S. ONE IN KITCHEN AND ONE IN BEDROOM. BOTH WORK GREAT. I HOOKED THEM UP WITH BOSE SPEAKERS VIA THE 3MM HEADPHONE JACK. EXCELLENT SOUND - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ITS BETTER THAN SIRI

Bought this mainly as an alarm clock for the bedroom. We also use it as a radio when we get ready for work and it's a great resource for getting the news and weather. Easy to set up, even easier to use.

I only use my Dot to play music, but I'm 100% satisfied with it. At first I just used the speaker within the Echo but after about a week I decided to upgrade to a bluetooth speaker (Sony) and love it.

I find Alexa to be very useful for little things I want to know but don't want to search online or look in my phone. I enjoy that she can play music for me when I tell her to. She's very quick as well!
