I was happy the install was very easy and the integration with my phone access was seamless. The 'skills' available have exploded since my purchase, however, I don't like that I have to activate skills and that I need to remember specific phrases to request the skill I am trying to access.

If you want a hands free device that has a ton of options and don't want to spend $180 or $130 for the Google device then the dot is for you! You can hook it up to surround sound or a Bluetooth speaker.

Using this device as and addition to SmartThings system and love it. Speech recognition works pretty well in 9 of 10 times. Small form factor makes it easy to install in unobtrusive way. Tightly connected to AMAZON service and could be used to order items from this retailer using voice commands.

I love this thing. It gets used all the time in our house. It is so versatile and has so many possible connections. Only thing is, be prepared to spend more money on other things to pair with it.

I have really enjoyed this product. It does not connect to everything but when it does it is really cool. I don't like the fact that I have to plug it in...which it had batteries.

Love the Dot and use it a lot for listening to music while working. Also able to connect to the Ring Doorbell if needed. Like being able to ask questions and get answers too!

At first I thought it would just be a novelty, but as more functions become available it's utility has increased immensely . Finds recipes, gets the weather, traffic alerts before I leave for work, etc.

Im a huge fan of Amazon products. I love my new echo dot! It was simple to set up and use. I love all the features. Its great paired with my Bose sound link mini II. I would definitely purchase again!

This is a great product, but it sometimes is lanky and behind with certain skills but still great

I use this product daily. I would like to have more than one but the echos do not connect to each other. Every day I am excited to see what else I can connect the echo to. I enjoy playing music because I am able to change the station with out picking up my phone and completing the task manually.

I purchased 6 of the Echo Dot's during the Black Friday specials. They were so affordable and I wanted 1 for almost every room in our house. They are so handy and easy to connect.

I have six of these in my house and love every moment of it I can control using Alexa with my alarm and everything like my heater my lights music purchases and guidance and stories etc. etc.

Works ok was not easy to set up. At the sale price of 29.99 ok.

So, this is the first "alexa" thing I've owned. I have a few smart home items, but this little thing really ties it all together. Totally worth getting Amazon unlimited to go along with it.

The sound is good, but not great. The usefulness stays, but the fun wears off pretty soon. It was hard for some reason to get it set up to my phone hotspot...but on wireless it's fairly easy. Definitely not plug and play.

I purchased the Amazon- Echo for the house and use it all the time, I had to buy the Amazon-Echo Dot for the office at the business, and the price that Best Buy offered it was a win - win Great !!!!.

This was purchased as a yankee swap gift for my office. It was the highlight of all other gifts.

Love my amazon echo dot 2nd gen, perfect match with my new tv and my kids love it as well they enjoy asking animal sounds, silly, educational, funny questions the list goes on.

I’ve put a few of these throughout my home. Alexa has become a part of our every day lives. The Dot is easy to find a spot for pretty much anywhere. Alexa is a very useful smart home device!

I am just beginning to learn all the things my dot can do and so far I love it. As I have time I am looking up more tasks that it can do and having lots of fun discovering new things to try.
