I love this device! It makes just enough sound to be a decent speaker. However everything can be connected through my soundbar when I feel like blasting music around the house! It's great!

I love this amazon echo dot! So much that I went back to buy another for my living room. I love that they are able to connect to each other and play music throughout all my amazon devices.

The Echo Dot has exceeded my expectations. I use it all the time, from just a simple kitchen timer to asking about the weather. I am finding more and more ways I can use Alexa around my house!

I felt a little funny talking to a device, but once I became used to that, I cleared one of the three hurdles to total enjoyment! I love making my shopping lists with this, I love listening to Audible books, radio stations, and lots and lots of music, I love setting sleep timers because I like to fall asleep to music but hate it when I wake up to it, and it pairs with my audio system like a dream. The only things I need to complete this relationship - to learn how to get it to not lock it up when I'm trying to find something (unless it's defective, but I don't think so) and I'd like it to access my locally stored files. One more thing...I really, really want the wake word to be "Computer".

So easy to use and setup. My 12 year old set it up with his account but it still works for everyone throughout the house. Also connects to other devices in the house, like the lights and thermostat.

Not so great for questions and etc but I love it for my smart home when turn things on and off

Louder than I thought it would be, based on other reviews. If used simply as background in a quiet area, it's plenty loud, but can connect to a stereo system to enhance the audio quality and volume.

Love this item I have two of them to help off set having to tell room to room for my main unit to hear me. Buy the hue lights it much more fun to have. Just walk n room n ask echo to turn on lights.

It is amazing how it works, it is very handy to set up alarms or add something to schedule. I love just to talk to it, play music or audio books when I am going to bed. It even tell you jocks.

Totally satisfied with the dot. I'm not a knowledgeable tech guy, but I am learning a lot of things the dot can do. Quick answers to questions, the weather, ball scores and much more. Love it.

Have three Echo/Alexa products in the house. Love 'em!! Can ask for HBO and with the help of the Logitech Hub, the tv, Yamaha Receiver, and Roku activated, HBO opens right up on screen. Lights too.

I have 2 kids and this works great with keeping things organized, lists, timers, music, jokes. I haven't even tapped into its full capabilities yet and I'll probably end up buying 1-2 more of them.

I use one of mine on the bedroom end table I can use it for helping me fall asleep check weather in the morning, But what I really like mostly is that I can get in bed and then shut off the lights

I bought this for my household and it works great. It doesn't know many things but works fine.

I gave this to my 7 year old nephew as a gift and he LOVES it! He uses it to play Kid Bop music and to ask Alexa silly questions. My sister uses it as an intercom as well. Great product!

Bought the Dot as a Christmas present for my wife, she loved it. Still learning things to ask, but so far so good. I think it's better than the full size Echo by adding a JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker.

Love my Alexa. I have 2 of these in my home. They have became a part of my everyday living. Works great for starting the day with the news. Small but powerful speakers.

I really like the echo dot. I am really pleased with the purchase and I am looking to purchase another to go along with my current dot and my echo. The quality of sound is excellent.

Performs all the Alexa features as it states. From a speaker standpoint it is very weak though.
