Very easy to set up and functions well. If a question doesn't 'answer' usually rephrasing the question works. Sometimes it will respond with a 'canned' message even if I did not ask it a question.

The Echo Dot is so convenient to have around for random questions, music, and making lists. It's so handy when you're busy cooking and you need something added to to your shopping list.

I do like this Alexa .I have at least four of them.One in each room.I ask her about the weather,Tells jokes,gives the time,Reads you stories.I will ask her the seven day forcast.I even ask her to play soothing sounds.I will say the only falts the i have had with the Alexa is that she will loose connection with the wifi.Then i have to unplug her for a bit until she gets reconnected.When i have amazon packages comming i will ask her whare is my stuff.If you order items from like chewey she cant track it for you .She can only tell you when you order from amazon only.

Probably one of the most useful tech iitems I have ever bought. Thought when I got it would probably want to upgrade, not the case. My memory is not the best and with Alexa it doesn't have to be.

The Amazon products are amazing. I picked up an Echo on Prime Day and have ended up putting Dots in every room in the house, including the patio. Great sound and Alexa is ridiculously cool.

I bought this as a gift to my daughter for Christmas. I think she will love this device because it can answer questions when she ask them and also complete commands when she tells it...

I have the TAP and now the DOT, I love that I don't have to touch the DOT it is voice activated..I don't like so much that I have to always have it plugged in outlet. But it's worth it in the end.

Bought this as a small family gift after hearing many fun things about the Echo Dot. It tells jokes, can find about any song and play it for you, and even turns up my Nest thermostat for me. Love

We have several of these now. We use them mostly for music but also enjoy some of the games. I have one in the bathroom that I use every morning for music and news and weather updates.

We really enjoy the Amazon echo devices. We have the original and added the echo for portability. It's convenient to have around the house as a speaker to play music or in the kitchen as a timer.

I had looked at several reviews of the Echo Dot and decided the size of it was a better fit for me. I am happy with it's features and have considered purchasing more for other areas of my home.

The dot is a great household tool. We have multiple dots and it's very convenient to talk to people in other rooms, like telling out daughter to get up in the morning, or time for bed.

We have several of these around the house connected to our Echo Plus. We prefer the sound from the Echo Plus, but these are great for adding devices in additional rooms.

My home does not have light switch. I have place a Echo Dot in each room and now can turn lights on and off either with my audio command or thru the app on my phone.

Being able to use the Echo Dot for many different things has been great. Whether it's setting a timer, playing music, or ordering new things from Amazon, everything is very easy and fun to use.

The speaker is just adequate, so you wouldn't want this as your main Echo, but for a bedroom, or smaller room, it is perfect. It's basically a full-featured device in a smaller package!

Purchased the Amazon Echo Dot as a gift for my mom and she loves it. I only wish that you didn't have to keep it plugged in the outlet at all times to use it. Other than that Alexa is perfect !

So far I am enjoying the Echo Dot but I am still learning quite a bit using it as I go along.

Very fun toy with a sense of humor. Easy setup which was my worry. Call the dot echo and the Alexis Alexis with no issues unless I'm too close to one and call it the wrong name. Highly recommend.

I love my echo! I actually have a few of them in different rooms of the house so I can listen to music everywhere and make announcements to my other family members.
