We bought the Amazon Echo Dot to play music, ask questions and have some fun with it. It is amazing how she knows what to do for us and has the answers to our questions. This is a great product.

Bought this for my 10 year old niece during the Black Friday sale. It sounds great and she gets a kick out of the voice command. Would definitely buy again for someone else.

If you have an Amazon Prime account. you can listing to music, have books read to you. If not it is still a great unit. I have multiple ones and use them as an intercom system as well.

Wow,I got this as a gift and am blown away by the amount of uses the Echo dot allows. I will be enjoying garage projects much more with the use of this convenience tool to enjoy music, open close garage, or answer a myriad of two hkical questions by easy voice command. I love this gizmo!

Bought this as a gift for my wife for Valentine's day and she loves it! I definitely recommend this for those that would love to have their own AI assistant. It plays great sound too!

I purchased Echo Dot for my 101 year old father who is pretty tech savvy. He enjoys visiting with Alexa and asking her questions. I plan to get another one for my husband.

Pretty easy to set up but if you have multiple Alexa’s then it gets a bit complicated to use.

I can live without these speakers, but why? They have made a lot of everyday actions more convenient. It's like having free hired help. It's definitely a hit with my child! It's easy to set up for use. Additionally, "skills" can be enabled via voice. The sound is pretty good for this unassuming "hockey puck", however it may best to have it connected to a Bluetooth speaker if need be. Needless to say, there are multiple Echo products in my house. Lastly, the Echos can be used as an intercom to talk through other Echoes in the house via "Drop In". By the way, you can "Drop In" on other people in other places that you know if they have the feature enabled.

Love our echo dot. We use it for music, information and to run devices in our home. Great quality. Works as a great as the day I bought it.

Had an Alexa already, and wanted to be able to play music, etc in other areas of the house. The Echo works great and is able to sync with the Alexa to play music throughout the house.

Love the Amazon Echo dot 2nd generation at the sale price of 29.99 it’s a fantastic deal. The sound quality is good for a bedroom or office sized room. Alexa voice commands work great.

Bought this as a second "Alexa" for the basement. It works great and actually sounds pretty good for the size. It connected to the wifi with ease. We use it for a timer with our son while on his video game consoles and he uses it for playlists while playing.

I’ve been using the amazon echo dot in the kitchen and use it for things like setting timers when cooking and looking up recipes, etc. I like that it has the option for Bluetooth speaker connection. No drawbacks for me with this product as it does what it is supposed to do.

I have bought 2 already, the second was a gift and its truly easy to use. Alexa can be funny based on questions asked. Its great to say Alexa, set alarm for ...am and she does it. A+++

cool device. I use it mostly for weather, spotify, alarms and timers. I also have hue lights connected to it and that feature is cool. only frustrating thing is that i can't get alexa to undim the lights and she struggles to find some playlists in spotify. otherwise not bad for 40 bucks.

Bought this on sale to connect with my Sonos playbar, Play1 and sub. Easy set up. Can control volume without moving an inch. Also connected a couple of lights via Kasa.

We just started using the echo dot but so far really enjoy it and look forward to finding out more things it can do. My 10 year old loves asking it questions and playing games with it.

I received 1 for Christmas with a speaker that it pops into. After playing around with it I decided to buy another to stream my sirius out to a speaker by my hot tub. I had been using my sony surround system to stream to a sony wifi speaker. I was limited to playlists and pandora until I connected the dot to that same speaker. The main negatives I would give it is that it keeps losing some of it's 'smarts'. I keep having to link my sirius account. My girlfriend tried setting up the 'find my phone' feature for an hour and Alexa's routine was in a loop spitting out the number to connect but never linked to the phone. If you have good spare speakers it is a great option to add for it's features. I have it linked to my philips hue hub and nest thermostat.
