Wow,I got this as a gift and am blown away by the amount of uses the Echo dot allows. I will be enjoying garage projects much more with the use of this convenience tool to enjoy music, open close garage, or answer a myriad of two hkical questions by easy voice command. I love this gizmo!

We just started using the echo dot but so far really enjoy it and look forward to finding out more things it can do. My 10 year old loves asking it questions and playing games with it.

I received 1 for Christmas with a speaker that it pops into. After playing around with it I decided to buy another to stream my sirius out to a speaker by my hot tub. I had been using my sony surround system to stream to a sony wifi speaker. I was limited to playlists and pandora until I connected the dot to that same speaker. The main negatives I would give it is that it keeps losing some of it's 'smarts'. I keep having to link my sirius account. My girlfriend tried setting up the 'find my phone' feature for an hour and Alexa's routine was in a loop spitting out the number to connect but never linked to the phone. If you have good spare speakers it is a great option to add for it's features. I have it linked to my philips hue hub and nest thermostat.

I've had this for about 2 weeks now. I never thought I needed one, but received it as a gift and love it. Simple to set up and use. Its connected to Amazon Prime music and works great.

These little Echoes are great. This is my third one. We mostly use it for music and that alone is worth the price. Much better to ask Alexa to play our music instead of touching a device.

cool device. I use it mostly for weather, spotify, alarms and timers. I also have hue lights connected to it and that feature is cool. only frustrating thing is that i can't get alexa to undim the lights and she struggles to find some playlists in spotify. otherwise not bad for 40 bucks.

Our 16 year old wanted as gift to listen to music. Now big brother gets to listen to us too. At least our teen is happy. Great price and well made.

Love the Echo Dot. Looking to buy a couple more. They are well above what I expected. I use the Echo daily to be informed of current events, weather and other things going on in the world.

When I first saw this, I wasn’t sure how to respond; not since I have it, many people are amazed who I show it to and it’s a nice feature to use when a phone, tablet, tv or PC is unavailable and need to find the temperature outside, ask a question or control any WiFi or Bluetooth connected smart device. Pros: 1) Advanced A.I can answer most questions. 2) Small and easy to place mostly anyplace in a room. 3) Syncs with WiFi and Bluetooth devices to control anything that’s on and connected. Cons: 1) Speaker for music is embarrassingly quiet. 2) Can only be connected to an outlet with no built in battery. 3) Not enough color choices. 4) No USB Type-C

Alexa is so much fun. My kids love it. It even helps with homework. I am still figuring out everything is does. It is like using Google with out having to look it up.

You don't necessarily need to purchase the more expensive Echos if you already have a Bluetooth speaker/stereo that produces great sound as this could be paired with it. Amazon should give unlimited access to their music when using the Echo device however.

Great for listening to music and asking about the weather though. I wish I could hook it up to my smart tv for Netflix or other apps but my amazon fire stick is on its way to do that.

I purchased 6 of the echo to give as gifts for my employees. They loved them. Very fun gift

With my Echo Dot connected to my home stereo via bluetooth I can always hear the music I want, Very helpful device can set multiple timers/alarms. They also works great as intercoms.

We weren't really sure how useful this would be but we love it. Turns on music and our blue tooth speakers in a snap, keeps track of our grocery list a d finds useful information. great to have

I’m still learning how to link my home security system and other skills. So far, I like it.

Alexa is perfect for asking info about something, playing music from my Pandora and just goofing off. She also can sing!... 2 pack as perfect...1 for this room and 1 for the other.

I love being able to manage music, phone calls, shopping etc with my voice. I have since purchased the Alexa echo. I keep one in the main family room and the dot in my bedroom.

I keep it in the kitchen and I like being able to turn it on with my voice while I'm doing dishes or cooking. Very convenient and affordable. If you want better sound, get the bigger speaker.

This works without the Amazon Echo, I have it connected with my Hue Lights, Nest Thermostats, and Lightify Lights and it works great, Found My devices within minutes and was pretty easy to set up
