I wanted to give this device a shot to see if it would work well in my smart home setup. I was not disappointed. Very easy to connect and works effortlessly with my wemo devices. I’m still learning what it can do, comes in handy and also fun.

We love our new Echo. I purchased another one for one sister to give to her for Christmas and I am going to get another one for another sister. It wakes us up, greets us and turns on Pandora. Gives great information on the weather and more.

Really love the overall usefulness of the dot. From playing music to hearing the news and weather to setting alarms and reminders the dot does it all

Amazon Echo Dot is a great little voice assistant. I have integrated with my home automation adding value to it. I have three of them now and use them differently in each location. The one in my living room is used for home automation, the one in the kitchen to adding items to a grocery list and recipes. The one in my bedroom is used as an alarm and for a daily briefing when I wake up. Sound quality is good, nice and loud and clear. The ability to add from a huge library of skills makes this little assistant very valuable. The price can't be beat either! Highly recommend.

I’m in love with my echo dot already! I purchased it on Black Friday and I’ve had so much fun trying new skills. I love the flash briefing in the mornings and the anyPod skill. There’s nothing i can say i don’t like about this product so far!

Very easy to use and set up. Reasonable sound for a small item

I now have 2 Echo Dots, and have had no issues with either of them. They give me my weather forecast every morning, play my favorite music on demand, and play games with me when I’m bored. I highly recommend the Amazon Echo line of products.

This is the 4th dot I’ve purchased in addition to the echo. I absolutely love the ease of use with these things. I’m certain I don’t use it to it’s full potential, but the minimum things I use it for, it works perfectly. Set up was a breeze.

Received as a gift. And it’s Awesome I love my Alexa she does so many things I am always surprised. it notifies you of packages , delivery delays , place any song or artist that you tell it to and can even set a timer for when you want the music to stop. you can also adjust the level of bass and the sound volume by just speaking. She also recognizes your voice and will tell you good night good morning or many other personal messages.

We don't have many smart home features but use it for getting info and playing music. The speaker plays pretty good for such a small device that many times we don't even connect it to anything else. Can't wait to get more features to connect

Love the echo so much I got the dot also for my bed room and gave out for Christmas gifts. Beside the music timer and alarm it even helps grandson with homework and reads stories play games the one word game help keep my mind sharper make me think. The water sound helps me go to sleep easiers . it dose so much. Hard to put down all it dose. Still have to hook the lights to it but soon will be able to turn on and off the light with it. It has become my right hand. The news flash helps me keep up to date with breaking news. So far all that got one for Christmas love it.

I purchased this one to add to my collection of dots and echoes. Every room is now covered by my Alexa voice commands. Really makes my house a smart home. I run lights, sprinklers, my thermostat and of course, play music using these devices.

Placed around my house, to control my smart home devices. Works great I have one in about eveyroom. It should go with out saying but this is not the smart speaker you want if you are trying to play music out of it, for that buy a Sonos One

basically only got this because there was a deal with the philips smart lights, couldn't' be happier with it. i have attached Alexa to my bluetooth speaker and it is very convenient to have. you can ask her something as simple as the weather or news, or you can ask her a history question. when you're hands are dirty in the kitchen its a very easy way to play music. you don't need a bluetooth speaker to use this but i think it sounds better than the speaker alone- so if you have a bluetooth speaker its a cheaper route than buying a more expensive version.

Work as advertised. And beyond my expectations. synchronized with my calender every appointment, shopping list, remainder, flash news ....And more. This is my 3 rd echo dot. Every room i can ask question and get answers about 90 percent.

Got this for my daughter and she loves it. She asks Alexa questions, has her turn the light on and off (with an additionally purchased accessory), and tells her jokes. She can't wait to buy more accessories to really see what she can do!

I love my Amazon Dot! I love being able to connect to my music and asking the time and weather. It's so fun to ask Alexa questions and set alarms and timers. I especially love telling Alexa to connect me to NPR news before I go to sleep.
