Plays music, answers questions, looks up information, gives you news highlights and weather info. Music plays better on the large unit but the dot is great for other rooms in the home.

So far I think it is good and a lot of fun. I haven’t figured out every skill. I can control my fan, lights and arlo cameras. It would be better if some of the skills were enable from factory “Amazon” not third party skills that you can interact out of the box.

We use it daily and for multiple purposes. My wife uses it while she cooks. I get updates on traffic and weather before I leave in the morning. The kids give it music commands daily.

I love echos regardless of type. The dots went on sale and BestBuy matched my price with Amazon. Love these little things. Great for stocking stuffers. (When on sale).

I have five echo dots, an echo spot and an echo show set up in my house. They work perfectly together. I control all my lighting and thermostat with them. Alexa rocks!

Simple easy to use product. I use multiple dots across my home to control multiple products. I like how I can call my kids down from there room while using Alexa.

Alexa! Very easy to setup, easiest device to pair with my Bose sound link mini. The app was easy to use. Just hard to remember all the music titles I heard growing up. But Alexa finds them.

Brought this for Christmas to help with the many questions we get from our kids. Although we het our share of Alexa not understanding the question, we enjoy the ability to hear music, jokes, definitions weather on demand...my kids treat her like an additional member of the family

Useful all over the house to control everything from tv to lights- bought an extra one at a great price on Black Friday- returned only because got another one as gift!

I think this information hub works great. Loud enough for a open area and picks up you voice from across the room. You can also enable countless skills for it to learn. It's only drawback is that it uses Bing to search out answers instead of Google which I think is more precise.

Works great when connected to my stereo system or portable blue tooth speaker. Fun to ask Alexa questions and get news and weather reports. Use often to listen to Pandora music.

Bought this item for my daughter and she liked it so well, I bought it for my son as well. Both have enjoyed the Echo Dot so much, I plan to purchase one for myself. Makes a great gift.

Love my amazon echo!! It is very helpful for all kinds of situations in your home (getting the weather, traffic info., setting a timer, etc.) and it is also a lot of fun and easy to use!!!

I'm really not computer savvy, but I saw the echo on a tv commercial and was sold. I gave 1 to each of my 7 nieces and nephews. They were sooo excited. . . as am I. Very pleased.

My son bought me this as a Christmas gift so that I can listen to my music as I'm working. It's awesome! We also ask Alexa funny questions and are always humored by her response.

I’ve been looking to pick one of these up for a long time and now I wish I would’ve done it sooner. Great product and really helpful with everyday list as well as music playback.

We have had this product for a week and love it. The voice is clear and loud enough to be understood. I gave it 4 stars because music won't sound full because of the small speaker. However, that can easily be resolved by connecting it to speakers or your stereo system like we did.

Bought a few as Christmas gifts. Works like advertised. Alexa is very helpful and useful for things around the house. The DOT is loud and understand of voice is near perfect. Great product.
