I have had an echo dot. My kids love using it. I bought them each one for their rooms this year. They love it. They now leave mine alone and go to their room to listen to music.

I bought this for my 80yr old mother. She loves it. I paired it with a smart plug so she can have Alexa turn her lights on by request. I also set reminders for her.

bought one for each of my childrens family and they love it. helpful with school work also. easy to set up and sounds great for music. Ready to add the larger model at my house.

I love my Dot. We put one in the bathroom and my children use it for music and podcasts while they bathe. We can also use it to adjust the lighting with our hue lighting system.

Echo Dot is very easy to use, no complaints from me. I've even renamed my Echo Dot from "Alexa" to "Echo". My kids love the small Dot and the big Echo. Again, no complaints from me.

Definitely works perfect with my other Amazon devices.

I love the echo dot. It works well as a smart assistant and is a very reasonable price. Just don't have high expectations for the speaker volume and quality.

Just like everything, this has it's pro's and con's, but the pro's are many and the con's are just annoyances here and there. As for the differences between this and google, they are to be expected. If you are the kind of person that asks a bunch of questions or need to know a bunch of answers, then a google is for you. But if you need to know the weather, turn your ac up or down, or need the answers to general questions like me, then hey, you just got your dream AI. This works great for me and the listening/hearing areas are great. If anything, I'd buy this again... hands down.

This is our second Echo Dot and we love them...as do our kids! Great to control our thermostat and sonos as well as fun trivia to have around. For this price, you can’t beat it!

my son got me this for christmas,and i must say i love it...i like how alexa plays music for me and i can get the weather and news early in the morning...i am sure it will only get better

The Echo Dot is easy set up, very easy to use, my 6 and 7 year old love to use it they ask home work question how to spell words,there are even fun spelling games, it’s awesome.

I bought this when it was on sale. I am a Prime member with a Fire TV device so I thought it would be a good addition to my smart home. It works very well in my kitchen and it responds well to my voice at normal volume. It also links with my Honeywell Lyric Thermostat to control the temperature in my home. Alexa is very intuitive when listening to Music through Spotify. The speaker is not the greatest but I like that I can connect my bluetooth speaker for added quality. This is great for the price range. I could not see myself paying so much for the Amazon Echo but the Dot was reasonable and I feel like I'm still getting the full experience.

I bought this for my husband and now I use it more than he does. We've since purchased one for my dad and two more for other areas of the house. It's easy and fun to set up and use.

Older model but for the incredible low price I always find a room for it. Works great with all my TP Link Kasa switches and bulbs to.

Am not alone. Once you set up Alexa by downloading the App, and pairing to a Wifi, now you are good. Get apps for weather, schedule and others. Alexa answers questions and give me Updates and time. Excellent I have a buddy at home. Plus my gf now want to do things for me.

Great tech in a small package but the sound quality isn't great for my needs. I have 3 full size echos now. I have one going 24/7. Whether it's an Audible book or white noise ocean sounds while I sleep it's always going. I can see a use for the dot but not for my setup.

Love the echo. We bought this in addition to Alexa and use this in our bedroom. Love listening to music and getting the news each morning. I also use this as my alarm clock each morning.

Great product for the price. However, did not find it practical for everyday use. It’s good for setting alarms and playing trivia. Although in order to listen to music you need to subscribe to a music provider.

One of my best purchases of 2016. I don't use it as often as I really could because I sometimes forget about it but it can be really useful & the price is really low for the capabilities.
