I purchased two on Cyber Monday (great price!) I wanted to take advantage of the "Drop In" feature. Works well as advertised. Sound quality is amazing for such a small device. I had it shipped for free. Took a week to receive.Easy setup.

This is my third echo dot. It's a great addition to any house..and so helpful with math and in the kitchen, setting multiple timers. I use it every day. There is so much it can do including calling any number you ask it to call. Love it!

I love these little things. I currently have two of them, and mostly use them to control lights in my house, and play music. he only annoyance I have had so far, is that the echo keeps setting up scenes for my Hue lights automatically. I delete them, and the next time I log in, they're back. I'm still trying to figure out how to stop this. Other than that,, I have really liked having the echos for convenience. Probably more of a luxury item, as I can control my Hue lights without them, and Siri does a lot of the same stuff, but still worth the money to me.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. Have an existing Echo in the living room that can be used like an intercom. Although the sound isn’t as crisp and rich as a stand-alone speaker, we use it for low-volume listening.

I’m amazed by this thing! I love being able to walk into my kitchen and tell it to play Pandora, or ask it what the weather is. It simplifies my mornings and evenings, and can even make cooking easier if I need to know something simple!

A year ago I'd say get a echo dot, their cheap, do the exact same thing as the full echo and their slick. Now however with googles mini ai entering the scene I'm not too sure. It's still a great choice but it'll have to bring something else to the table if they want me to stay.

Great fun and help. Makes me feel I'm in the Enterprise asking the computer for information or to do something. It also provides me with company when asking for information cooking wise or trivia, and the weather forecast for today or tomorrow. I also receive emails as updates about new ways to ask for different need's and best way to ask for things I want - I can even ask about other cities. Love the fact that I can control other appliances with the help of an additional gadget. And best of all I can listen to music of my preference!

Amazon's Echo, I am amazed how cool it is. This product is now so very economical that you can truly get into a basic home automation setup at a much improved price point. I highly recommend the Echo Dot and encourage all to try it out.

Used as an alarm and speaker for music , daughter loves it

I just decided to enter the smart home world, and this was a great choice. Easy to set up and allow the kids to start listening to music they like. Also enjoyed controlling the lights (go some hues). So far very happy with the results.

I purchased the echo dot after I helped a friend set up hers. There are so many things that Alexa can do, I just had to have one! It was easy to setup. I also linked my Harmony hub for easy TV controls. I am very happy with my purchase

I love this product! The Echo Dot can be used for simple tasks of weather updates, setting alarms and timers, and playing your favorite radio station or pandora playlist. The Dot does SO much more, so don't be intimidated, just enjoy!

This little device is amazing, it can hear you well from any point on the room. The responses are amazing too. The speaker is loud enough to enjoy some music or the news. I have it connected to control Vivint and it is really helpful.

I bought this for my teenage daughter as well as for a Neice and nephew. They love it. They use as a speaker. I have a friend who is a senior and I think that she likes Alexa to keep her company. She is always asking Alexa questions.

Me and my kids like be being able to have music, reminders, weather and alarms on this. Make my life easier.

I bought this product during the black friday sale. Very easy to hook up and now I'm obsessed with adding more smart devices to my home. Alexa can control them all with ease. Liked it so much I purchased a few more for Xmas presents.

Alexa Dot adds a different dimension to your relationship with the world. It is sooo informative!! I gave one to my son and he woke my 10 yr old g-daughter during the holidays to Christmas music with chipmunks; helps her with her homework; mine gives me answers to trivia that allows me to understand the world better; when i wake in the morning i ask Alexa the weather and i continue my prep for work without waiting for the tv updates; any songs that i want to hear, depending on my mood , she finds; I LOVE HER!!!....AND YOU WILL LOVE HER TOO....NO DOUBT!!!
