I think everyone should have an amazon echo or echo dot! Makes a great gift and is much less expensive then the echo. I love that it blends into my room and doesn't take up much space.

Purchased as a birthday gift. My mom loves it and uses it everyday to hear a summary of the news, the latest weather, for music, etc. Considering getting one (or a few) of my own.

This was the perfect gift for my significant other. I did not realize how interactive the device was. Though it sits on his side of the room, I use it often. Ask it all kinds of questions and set alarms. The one thing I did not know was that it records the questions asked.

I purchased this for my teenage niece. She was so excited to ask question and request music. If $50 is your budget for gifts this is for you. You will become someone's favorite person

We like this one! it is a good product. But does not work well for some cases, for example, user with different noise environment, and different accent. Some times the searched results are funny. Also, hope it support other languages. price is ok compared with Echo.

Hey Alexa....this is a pretty cool device and can make life a lot easier buy turning on TVs, lights, lamps, turning on receivers, etc. It does just about what ever you want but you'll need the right accessories to go with it to get max use.

I bought 2 of them and my family has had a lot of fun with it. They usually use it to play music and to ask it silly questions. It is very good at understanding what we ask.

Does what it is supposed to do and ties in seamlessly to a single device or your complete wireless setup. Alexa voice recognition is the best out there in my opinion.

This is the best device ever. Has many uses. I can play my music or I can come in with my hands full and just tell me dot to turn on the lights. I love this thing. Well worth the money

Speaker is a good generation but the new generation is a little better a lot older but if you have the second generation works well what’s all Alexa device

We started with just one Alexa out of curiosity and now have 3. We are finding more and more uses for this product. It is especially good as an alarm, timer and news source.

This is my favorite purchase this year!! This little thing is amazing! I have hue and harmony and integration with this...I am finally in the 21st century! It can hear me 3 rooms away!

This little device is amazing all you have to do is say Alexa and tell her what you want it's louder then what people say it was and if you have amazon music or prime it's even better

I have enjoyed my purchase of the echo dot, I was skeptical but I gave it a shot. I use it multiple times a day and have the lights hooked up through it and it just makes life easier.

I did read the reviews of the dot prior to my purchase. As i read it does not have quite the speaker the Echo does but it does offer the ability to Bluetooth to a speaker to get better quality sound. I love it and love the updates that have been going along w/ Alexa.

The Amazon echo.are a great addition to updating the technology in our home very easy to use and to understand its features and at the holidays the price point was fantastic

I know it's smaller and works as an addition to the Echo but it's just not loud at all. All of the ads on TV are misleading. This thing is not loud enough to provide music to a room without being hooked up to a sound system. My phone's speakers are close to twice as loud. I would only buy or recommend this if it's on sale.

My entire smart home eco-system is comprised of Amazon echo's. This echo dot was for the family room. Works well with the smart plugs I've installed for lighting.

I have one and.I.figure friends and family could use one. I talked much about it. They all enjoyed the dot and I also bought plugs with them so they can Alexa all they want.
