I did read the reviews of the dot prior to my purchase. As i read it does not have quite the speaker the Echo does but it does offer the ability to Bluetooth to a speaker to get better quality sound. I love it and love the updates that have been going along w/ Alexa.

Other people told me how great the Amazon Dot is so I decided to take the plunge and try it. It was easy to set up and it is fun to have Alexa do different things for me.

I have one and.I.figure friends and family could use one. I talked much about it. They all enjoyed the dot and I also bought plugs with them so they can Alexa all they want.

This is the best device ever. Has many uses. I can play my music or I can come in with my hands full and just tell me dot to turn on the lights. I love this thing. Well worth the money

This little device is amazing all you have to do is say Alexa and tell her what you want it's louder then what people say it was and if you have amazon music or prime it's even better

I have enjoyed my purchase of the echo dot, I was skeptical but I gave it a shot. I use it multiple times a day and have the lights hooked up through it and it just makes life easier.

This is my favorite purchase this year!! This little thing is amazing! I have hue and harmony and integration with this...I am finally in the 21st century! It can hear me 3 rooms away!

I use Alexa a lot. It is handy for asking questions, setting timers, using the plug I purchased at the same time to turn on or off whatever is plugged in. It can be fun too.

I already had Alexa. I purchased this to place in the bedroom so that I can control the lights etc. from The bedroom . The Dot works great! It is an excellent addition to Alexa!

I have two Echo Dots and they are great. They are small and easy to take with you when traveling. I use the Echo Dots in my daughter's bedrooms. They are perfect for a bedroom.

Bought it for a friend and she loves it. She said it works great with her firestick

Overall a very good product, however does require improvements on voice recognition

Bought this during the Christmas sales for my sister and her family. Everyone loves it, easy for everyone in the whole family to use. Alexa is like a part of the family now

I wanted to be able to listen to music in my basement and the Dot does the job very well. I connected it to my audio system and completed the setup in less than 5 minutes.

Bought this for a gift for my dad he placed it in the restroom and hear him all the time asking Alexa to play him his favorite music! His very happy!

This dot is so user friendly and it does almost everything for you like setting an alarm comes handy when you really don't want to get up from bed anymore :)

Already have an Echo and another Dot in my house - adding this to my office makes it even easier to control my sound, lights, etc. around the house while i work!

Google's Alexa will play music, the you a joke, let you know the upcoming weather, start your car and tons of other useful features to help you when you need it

Absolutely brilliant, easy to set up, easy to use. Grandson loves asking Alexa to help with his homework! Together with Prime music provides another musical dimension to the home.
