Great product, answers your questions,can set a timer ,also you are able to set an alarm. you can play music and even order products from Amazon and sync your phone to it.

My Dot paired easily with the Alexa we already had. Now we can play music or news throughout the house. Probably going to purchase one more for the second floor.

Alexa makes the echo dot fun to use. Ask her anything and she answers, performs task, ask her for jokes, connect to your favorite music, order from Amazon and other neat things.

I have purchased several Echo devices for family, friends, and me. The Dot remains a great, compact device either on its own or with paired speakers.

I use these every day. I now have 5 echos in my house and 14+ lights controlled by them. I use these when walking in to a dark room when my hands are full.

Alexa doesn't always understand certain commands and you need to rephrase them.

I have this plugged into a sound bar and it's perfect for when I have friends over. Everyone can tell Alexa what song they want to hear and no one has to pair their phones

I like the Alexa products. No issues with any. Easy to set up and does not take up much space. Nice speaker sound and the communication features are great!

I use this item everyday to turn on and off my lights. It tells me about the weather and traffic and what my schedule is going to be that day. It’s perfect!

I like having Alexa at my side by my desk during the day and in the kitchen in the evenings where our family gathers. Instead of searching on the internet for weather, news, recipes, calendar events (current or future), we simply ask Alexa. No matter what we're doing, we do not have to stop in our tracks to go to the PC or phone to search for answers. We simply have to speak. I can even ask her to add grocery reminders to my list and appointments to my calendar without lifting a finger ! I'm looking forward to any upgrades in store for Alexa's knowledge base. For now, she's a great little sidekick to have around.....saves me time!

I love my echo dot, Alexa picks skills you caneed add, she tells jokes, can give medication reminders, set numerous timers which is great when cooking while multitasking. It has great workout program apps, tells me latest news. I have never had an issue with this product except when playing music through attached speakers. sound did not always play the music, so probably an app problem with pandora. I bought one for my whole family. This product is very helpful for elderly people for reminders or to set lights on off or to answer movie schedules or news so they do not have to deal with too much technology.
