This works great with our TV, lights, vaccum and fire stick. The ease of use and the simplicity of the design really accents the functionality.

Smaller echo is the perfect addition to any household. Put it in any room and alexia is at your exposal to turn on or off lights, set alarms, or tell you the weather.

I bring this Alexa dot with me in my country and set it up, my family was so happy and got shock because every question that they ask Alexa were answered.

Works great for what I use it for, just turning off and on a couple of lights.

Sound is significantly different than the full size echo, but it does the job.

This is a fun device, great for shopping lists and listening to music. Takes a little bit to learn commands to get somethings to work. I hooked mine up to some Hue lights and the kids love the color changes and I like being able to turn the lights off with Alexa.

If you don't have children and want someone to do something for you i.e. turn off your lights, then this is a must have. Don't believe me? Try and see. You'll fall in love.

Loving our echo dots! Bought one for the kitchen and for my son for Christmas. I'm planning to buy a few more for other parts of the house. For $50, I definitely recommend it!

I like the small size and the fact that you can easily hide it throughout your house. This being my second dot I do have most of the house controlled by voice commands. Love it

I bought this a couple of years ago and liked it so much that I bought the newer version a while ago. The 3rd Generation Echo Dot has much better, fuller sound, but everything else is fine. I am now using both.

The echo is awesome as a fun extra or starting SMART device. I bought this one for my parents. I got it all set up for them and it worked great. Alexa does have a hard time hearing and understanding my parents though so that was frustrating for them.

Having Alexa on call in our home is very convenient. Use it most for music and to turn on and off lights. Sometimes play games or check the weather.

Love the echo dot. We keep it in the kitchen and ask Alexa questions. Much easier that having to type a question for google and then having to look through options.

Bought one for each kid's room; love the ability to drop-in and summon them upstairs instead of yelling. Yes I am just as lazy as the rest of you. JudgementFreeZone.

Works great and I need to get more out of it but I need to spec time with it. Like the idea, need to set up though with a smart phone and not just over wifi like I did.

For someone that doesn't have a smart home quite yet, it doesn't help my day to day too much. I got it because I eventually I would like to integrate more smart home equipment into my house but until then the features this device has to off doesn't do much. The few things it does help with however are pretty cool. Such as setting alarm when I don't want to wake myself up and use my phone, and it checking my calendar alerts it's handy. The Skills that Alexa can learn are kinda meh from what I've seen. Mostly playing games and sleep sounds. I'll be more excited about it when I can control more smart home functions and the device might be more sensitive to my schedule on a practical basis.

We have 2 Echo Shows, 1 Echo, and 5 Echo Dots. We use them as an intercom system in our house, and I can check our security system cameras on the Echo Shows, Our favorite features are the Alexa shopping list so everyone in the family can constantly add to the list when they realize we are running out of supplies, traffic and weather updates, Amazon music, setting timers and alarms, and background sounds for sleeping like ocean sounds. There are so many features every week that we are always asking Alexa what her new skills and features are. We are very happy with the Amazon family of Echo products.

Bought this for my mothers birthday and she loves it. She controls her lights, sets her alarm, and listens to music with Alexa. Perfect gift
