I purchased 3 dots, one for the kitchen, one for my master bedroom and one for my master bath. From to do lists to shopping lists to Amazon music, Alexa is our helper

I already have the Amazon Echo. I purchased this to use in my bedroom to turn on and off bedroom light. I also use it to set the morning alarm. What a great investment!!

This is an awesome product that is easy to use. It's as easy as asking a question and with a smart plug you can turn on and off lights, check the news and listen to music.

I actually purchased three of them. One for each bedroom and we can listen to music control lights, etc. Now we can also use them to speak to each other as an intercom.

I really enjoy having the echo on my bedside table. Great for reviewing news, weather, calendar, playing music, asking questions, etc. For the price point it is a must have.

Love having this in the bedroom to conrtol lights and ask questions from there. It does a good job with the Echo of determining which device to activate when you talk to it.

A very well-designed voice assistant. It has a lot of functions: controling smart plugs, answer questions, and more. Playing music with it is also very convenient.

I like the Dot better than the rest of my family. As a result, I use it in my home office only. I mainly use alarms/timers, news brief, shopping list. I would love to use the feature to turn lights on and off when I can get my family on board.

We have had the full size Alexa for a bit now and wanted a Dot for our room. We use it all the time as do our toddler girls. We really love it. Get one, you wont regret it.

I gave this to my son as a graduation gift from high school. He plans to use it in his dorm to handle all his electronic needs (including the need for an alarm clock).

I love the Echo Dot. We have 5 of them + a full size Amazon Echo in our house. The Dot is great to put in each room and leave the Amazon Echo in a family room to play music.

Got it as a fun item. It is really filled with features that I have not explored yet, but the ones I have used (calendar, shopping list, weather, music) work very well.

I bought this to go with my Echo downstairs. You can pair both now to both play the same music so that a nice feature. Every time there is more and more Alexa can do.

Does everything that you see in the commercials. Sometimes it doesn't understand the command or mis interperates it. Sound quality is pretty good for such a small size. Music selection it very limited with out Amazon music unlimited subscription.

Bought this for my in-laws who weren't so sure about a voice assistant. The price is great, and now they love it! It connects to everything with ease.

I have 3 second gen echo dots and would have given it 5 stars, except now I bought a couple of the third gen dots and find them to have a much better sound quality. While on sale, I’d say pay the extra $10 and go for the third gen.

Bought these for 3 family members & they ALL loved it! Alexa is their new best friend. Very cool gadget, plan on getting. A few more for friends...maybe one for myself too!

Our son asked for the Amazon Echo for Dot for Christmas to go along with out Hue lights. We enjoy the simplicity of the setup and ability to control out living room lights.

I purchased my Echo Dot and connected it to my new Harmon Kardon Onyx Mini bluetooth speaker that I got on sale at Best Buy! I love this AI and plan on keeping her forever!

The Echo Dot performs exactly as I expected. I have started with WeMo switches to automate my home and the voice command is a great feature. Paired with a Bluetooth adapter connected to my Bose Wave system, the Dot's small built-in speaker is not a problem.
