Impressed with everything the Echo Dot can do. Check the weather in the morning. Play your favorite music. Get a recipe. Turn off the lights. Lots more. All for under $50.

We didn't actually know the capabilities of this. We have it set up with his phillips hue lights. He can turn them on and off. I'm thinking of buying one for Ba Ba Booey.

I bought this for practical reasons like check the time weather and commute but find that it can do much more. Fun fun fun!!! Lots of games to play with friends

My Echo Dot works so well that I currently have four in my home which pairs well with my Vivant Smart Home system and Hue lights. It's practical and fun to use!

These were bought for my son’s for Christmas and they have them in their rooms and use them for music, alarm, and daily weather reports, etc.

I’ve been automating my home and these dots around the house control everything from my XBox and home theater to my Christmas lights and Apple Music.

Looks nice. Small so you can put it just about anywhere. However, you don't want it blocked by other objects. Seems to pick-up WI-FI from any room.

Alexa was easy to install and easy to program. I use Alexa for an alarm and as a timer when I cook. My grandkids kids enjoy asking travis questions.

Bought this item for my 77 year old mother who is not tech savvy. It allows her to get information from the internet and play music just by request.

Very handy. It takes a little while to get certain features working but works fine after that. It stopped working once but only requires unplugging it and then plugging it back in to reset. A great little device for fun and to help with various questions.

I bought this product for my husband for Christmas, and he loved it! He has not stopped using everyday since we got it. Our 8 yr old daughter even uses it to play music.

Amazon echo dot is a great amazon device. You can listen to music, get the wether forecast and even listen to a book.

I wasn't sure if my mom & dad could figure out how to work the Echo Dot, as they are in their 90's now. Well, they figured it out, & they're having a lot of fun with it.

I prefer the Echo to google home because it just seems easier to set up and use. Where it falls short, is the questions you can ask it. Google home is better at being able to ask it questions but is harder to set up home control.

I am enjoying the echo dot and the more I play with it the more I become intrigued about some of the other smart devices that you can use with the echo dot. Watch for sales for good prices. Looking for something fun and interesting this is it!

Used these to control my Nest and Lutron lights as well as Harmony stuff. Great with lights and thermostat. Hopefully they add more for the Harmony remotes. Easy set up.

The echo does what the taller version does, but The volume is too low. Sometimes it is way too slow or doesn't connect the first to my cell phone music library. However, I own 2 of the echo dots. One is on a bathroom shelf and the other is in the kitchen.

The Amazon Echo Dot works very well. We have ours connected to an external speaker and it sounds great. The connection wore was not included, it is a 1/8" stereo output.

Amazon account required. Unable to play local music I own. Slow response accepting commands. Sound is good for size. Buy it if you know its limitations.

Love this little thing. Have my whole house hooked up through the echo It's shuts off my lights and tv. Not to mention it is a fantastic alarm clock Highly recommend
