I bought one of these a few months ago and found that I use it in two locations but only had one device. Easily solved by a fathers dad present for my second one.

This device does everything echo does except the speakers are poor. It is perfectly priced to use with a good Bluetooth speaker. I have echo in my bedroom as a stand alone (great speakers)and dot in my living room paired with a great Bluetooth speaker.

This is a great (inexpensive) way to get started with Amazon Alexa. I use this mostly to play music in the bedroom. Sound from the built in speaker is not great but usable. You can always connect it to a wired or Bluetooth speaker for better sound.

Our Echo dot is at the center of our home automation journey and you can not beat this little device for its functionality and ability to listen across the room.

I already have 2. Needed one for my computer room. Alexa covers it all.

We have an echo dot in every room of the house. It beats yelling up the stairs to get the kids attention, we can call or drop in on their rooms at any time.

Love interacting with my echo. My family and I get a kick out of the silly jokes she tells. We also find it amazing that it finds answers to our questions with ease.

The Echo Dot is a great device and easy to set up. I recommend this device as an inexpensive solution when coupled with Amazon's Kindle, Audible and Music.

We bought it to work our Sonos system and it appears to be working well

I have the large version and got this for my living room. I use it for music background when I'm reading. I plan on getting another one for the kitchen. Geat value!!!

This is very useful for voice control. It has the most feature and widest support in its category. If do do not need the stronger speaker, it is the best you can get.

If you get it free with purchase, then go for it, otherwise spend a bit more and get the 3rd generation as it has a better sound and look.

I love this product to help me get out the door in the morning or relax at night. From telling me the weather while I get ready for work in the morning to playing music at while I cook at night, the echo is a handy and really reasonably price gadget

I love being able to ask the time or temperature, and getting it promptly. My daughter loves the knock knock jokes. It's great! The only thing i wish is for it to have more ratios or facts to legit questions. Even from a statistics point.

White looks sleek, This was a great buy for the kids, since they have a lot of technology in there room, they can play music and do so much more.

I didn’t realize how much I would use Alexa, until I randomly purchased this on sale. I now have it hooked up to smart speakers and plugs, and use it daily.

Great for getting answers to questions, whether reports, shopping lists, morning alarm, timer, etc. Can also with other equipment, control lights, thermostat, etc.

Love my echo dot. Use it everyday to play music and hear a summary of news and weather. Have even asked for the joke of the day. Easy to set up.

This was a great purchase. Now I want the bigger one with the better speaker. This works great for the use in the room that I have it located in.
