Somewhat Disappointing

I ordered the Dot when the price dropped to use in my office. However, I can't stream music when my wife is using the Echo!!! Also, the white Dot came with a black cord!!

Understands most of the time and when she doesn't, a simple repeat will fix the problem. Love asking for news, weather, shopping, turning on/off smart devices, etc. Must get for smart home enthusiast.

Alexa doesn't always understand

I also purchased a plug in so that Alexa would turn on their lamp. I know they use it for that and for playing music but other than that I don't think they use it much.

Almost as good as Google Home

Both systems have room for improvement but at the price of the Echo Dot it makes sense to get several for your home.

You have to go on the Alexander app to enable the skills you want to use. I keep forgetting to say 'Alexa' first before asking a question.
