This is my 3rd Echo DOT. I have been adding on since I got my first DOT as a gift. They are easy to set up with my TP Link switches, plugs, and LED bulbs. I definitely recommend TP products because I don't need a hub.

Oh, what a joy it is to ask a question and always get an answer. Unlike my wife, Alexa always shows respect. LOL This is just a pleasure to have. I got some as presents, and hope they enjoy them as much as I do mine.

Got it as Christmas gift for my husband...he's not very good with tech stuff but he loves this. He can listen to his favorite music whenever he wants gets all the new and weather in an instant.....best gift ever!!!!

Our new Amazon ECHO has been a nice addition to our household. It gives us the time, tells us the current weather conditions and so much more. It is nice to be able to call up music and adjust the volume with voice commands. Ordering items on Amazon or making a grocery list is a big time saver. There are so many tasks and aids that the ECHO can perform and we learn new commands every day. By the way, ECHO learns as you go along, so it gets smarter as you use it. We are extremely satisfied with our new ECHO.

I bought two of these for two rooms in our house. I mainly use it for music and have connected it to my bluetooth speaker no problem. Nice to be able to ask Alexa what the weather is wherever you want to know. Nice to use as a timer and alarm clock and for other general information such as sports scores etc. Doesn't always recognize some of my commands for certain songs but is learning. Have tried several of the apps which are free and fun to use. Bought them when on sale for $39.99 which I think was worth that price.

Bought this for my son who is a gadget guy. The Echo Dot works great with his other smart devices. (Nest thermostat, Sonos speaker system). He is buying other smart devices as well as they are avid amazon customers.

Easy to set up. Syncs with a Bluetooth speaker for better sound. Small size to fit anywhere in a smaller room like bedroom or office.

Awesome value on sale at $29. Use it to control our Philips Hue lights and Ecobee 3 thermostat. Haven’t connected to a speaker yet but I bought the Dot because I wanted the option to connect it to a premium speaker.

I needed a new alarm clock, decided that this would work great for alarm and playing music, plus can pair with my echo second generation and have surround sound. Dot doesn't have as good of sound but is still good.

We keep our Echo Dot in the kitchen for various reasons. We can ask for measure conversions while cooking or to play music. The flash briefings for weather and news are useful too. It's wonderful to use hands free.

Really enjoy this with my amazon prime account. Music is very nice, but really required additional more powerful speakers which I sat up via Bluetooth. Love having the rain storm, white noise and such for sleep at night. Turns itself off in one hour. Enjoy the news updates. Learning new things to use it for daily. Fun and functionable piece of tech. If you buy two or more you can play music all through the home, drop in as a monitor, or use as an I home speaker to talk to others in the house.

This is exactly what I wanted...something small and capable of providing radio services when needed. I have my echo on the kitchen counter and each morning Alexa gives me the weather and plays the local radio news.

I've had the dot for a while now and so far no problems. I dont use it for scheduling or anything work related. I mainly use it for storytelling, rain sounds to help fall asleep, news, and music. I enjoy it everyday.

I've had an Echo for a few months now, but when I started buying smart products I decided that I need more than one Echo, so I bought this dot. It's great! I can control my smart products from more than 1 room now.

Ok. I've had this device for about month now, and it's simply amazing. Alexa can hear me easily from a room away without shouting. She can turn lights on and off, play my favorite stations, and entertain my children with knock knock jokes for an hour without pulling out her hair. Is this device integral for the operation of my home? Nope. But is it cool? Heck yes. So, until someone proves aliens are using my Alexa to steal secret cheese recipes from my computer, I'll be keeping it and loving every minute.

Love the dot! It might be small but it does pack a lot of sound with it. At first i thought it was going to be a little difficult to set up but to be honest they give you a link to a video and its cake from there!

I am an Alexa fan and have multiple in my home. My son asked for one for Christmas. It was a perfect gift for him, especially when it was on sale!! If you want better sound it plays through bluetooth or purchase a speaker add on that makes them mobile. Awesome feature that allows you to make wifi calls with it.

Loving this thing! I just started with an echo dot and started using it for music. I soon read up on the room to room speaking capabilities. I then ended up with and echo plus for a hub and now started adding dots to each room. The dot does not have the best speaker but it’s good enough for such a small device.
