Summary says it all, my girlfriend and I got one for the bedroom for sleep sounds and an alarm, and loved it so much, we bought one for the living room.

We have three of these in our house now! My kids have them in their rooms and use them to set alarms and send me messages. We love them

I like using the echo dot but I'm probably not using it to its full potential. Good for alarms, reminders. Love the ambient sounds skill for sleeping.

My children love listening to music. They want to take the music everywhere they go. The echo allows them to take their music and leave the device charging.

The most amazing thing about this is it makes list, add/remove items from existing list etc. Obviously helpful in many other ways too.

My friends all have the Echo and rave about it. I decided to pick one up and boy do I love this thing!!!! Go out and get one and you will not regret it.

I already had two Echoes on backorder when the Dot came on sale at BestBuy. The sale price was a no-brainer and I was able to get some things set up earlier than expected. I set up the Philips Hue lights and control over my entertainment devices with the Harmony Hub. It all works great and I enjoy the Dot. The speaker could be better but it is a nice entry into the Echo-system and good little portable version for wherever you might need an extra. Now that I have two full-sized Echoes, I moved the Dot into my office with external speakers. Now that I have this going I think about how my late uncle with cerebral palsy would have enjoyed this technology so much. Could be life changing for some. If the regular price was a little less I'd be gifting them more. Waiting on the next sale for that.

This is my 3rd Echo Dot. Love it! I have it control my lights, AC and other devices as well as provide information. Its a must have for any smart home.

Echo is great sound is perfect I wish it was louder but is good sound and column is average it responds very well and with Amazon prime lots of benefits

Have the echo in my kitchen and bc the dot is so inexpensive got one for my bedroom. Sound quailty isnt as great as echo but does get the job done

I love my Dot it has been a life saver. It's in the office so I can call my husband when I need help. I have the Alexa tower in my room.

The dot is a great compliment to Alexa. It can do everything, play music, wake me up in the morning and telling me the weather forecast.

We thought about getting Alexa when it first came out, but weren't sure if we would enjoy it without all the added electronics that can turn off lights and such. We visited my in laws a few weekends ago and they have one and they love it. Our 4 year old son loves talking to her and learning new things. It's easier then typing it into Google, you can just ask Alexa what the weather is like, what traffic is like, you can add skills like Dominos and you can order your "easy order". It's pretty cool. We are so glad we bought one and are telling all our friends to get one too!

Received this free with the purchase of a Ring doorbell. I never would have bought one; but since it was free we have used it.

Perfect for small spaces. Great to listen to music or ask a question. My son will be taking it with him to college this fall.

I have enjoyed using the Amazon Echo. It was easy to set up. We purchased one as a gift for my mother also. Talking to Alexa keeps us entertained.

Bought this for my husband who likes to listen to music. Not only can he listen to music but can do so much more like get the weather report, etc.
