Echo is great sound is perfect I wish it was louder but is good sound and column is average it responds very well and with Amazon prime lots of benefits

I already had two Echoes on backorder when the Dot came on sale at BestBuy. The sale price was a no-brainer and I was able to get some things set up earlier than expected. I set up the Philips Hue lights and control over my entertainment devices with the Harmony Hub. It all works great and I enjoy the Dot. The speaker could be better but it is a nice entry into the Echo-system and good little portable version for wherever you might need an extra. Now that I have two full-sized Echoes, I moved the Dot into my office with external speakers. Now that I have this going I think about how my late uncle with cerebral palsy would have enjoyed this technology so much. Could be life changing for some. If the regular price was a little less I'd be gifting them more. Waiting on the next sale for that.

I would put one in each room of my home if I could. I have four and love them. Each day I discover more that it can do for me.

I really like this product and can't wait to use it with the HUE

We have installed several smart bulbs and switches throughout our house and turned to the Echo Dot to be a simple interface by which to control that. We have both SmartThings and Hue hubs and primarily use the Echo to control devices connected to them. In addition to doing an exceptional job for that intended task, we've also found ourselves using the Echo for quick kitchen conversions and as a kitchen timer. There are an endless number of "skills" (basically apps) you can install on the Echo, so no matter your intended use, the Echo probably has you covered.

Have the echo in my kitchen and bc the dot is so inexpensive got one for my bedroom. Sound quailty isnt as great as echo but does get the job done

Amazon made another great product. With ease of use and interoperability, I can now voice control my TV, Rumba, lights, etc. Not to mention set multiple convenient kitchen timers and get news and weather.

Alexa can play any genre of music you ask her. This alone makes it such a great product. It connects easily to my Bose speaker via wifi. What a great buy!

Instead of paying the $40+ for a Ring chime, I received this with the purchase of my Ring doorbell and it works as a chime! Perfect!

If you want or need a device like this smart speaker, you can't go wrong with this, and you sure can't beat the price.

I have enjoyed using the Amazon Echo. It was easy to set up. We purchased one as a gift for my mother also. Talking to Alexa keeps us entertained.

Bought this for my husband who likes to listen to music. Not only can he listen to music but can do so much more like get the weather report, etc.

I didn't realize how much I would enjoy this gadget! I forget to say 'Alexa' before a command sometimes but I think you can switch that to another command.

We have three of these in our house now! My kids have them in their rooms and use them to set alarms and send me messages. We love them

After seeing all of the commercials, I decided to purchase the Echo. I love it. It is capable of a lot of tasks. It is a great item at an affordable price.

The most amazing thing about this is it makes list, add/remove items from existing list etc. Obviously helpful in many other ways too.

I enjoy using Alexa for alarms and music. My son wants one now.
