I have the Echo, Echo Tap, two Echo Dots and Echo Show. I have one Dot in Front Room and the other in the Basement Family Room. I love them. Many things you can do with a Dot. And is cheaper than the other 3 Echols.

I have a few smart products in our home prior to getting the echo dot. I have enjoyed the luxury these devices provide and the Echo dot is another nice enhancement. Fun and easy to use, it is also easy to install.

This thing has good sound and great sensitive microphone. It can understand me from down the hall. Good and loud sound irrespective of such a small size. Still exploring Alexa capabilities. Can do a lot of things and works as radio. This is my first digital assistance and turning out to be a good fun for kids.

I already owned an Echo, and decided I'd like an Echo Dot for my bedroom. I paired it with a dock that doubles as a clock. It works like a charm. I may be adding to my collection of Alexa controlled devices soon.

My entire family just loves the new edition to the household. Easy set up and interfaces with other Smart Home items which is great. I bought 8 and going back to get 5 more tonight. It's the perfect holiday gift!

I bought this knowing that it would be a great addition to my daily life. It has helped me figure out what i'm wearing the morning of, how long commutes are, what the latest news trends are, getting me up in the morning, controlling the lights in my room etc. Amazon Dot has never failed me, except with some music names, but overall this is really great for 1 bedroom use, not big house use. Add in the aux cord to a speaker and grab a wemo switch and everything becomes easier. I highly recommend buying this product.

I've had both the dot and google home. Google home seems to be way more picky with your phrasing compared to alexa for some reason. I use it mostly for my hue lights and alexa is able to understand me way better.

I bought this device for my kids. They love it as its easy to use and they can get information they need without going to the internet. It was easy to set up and the price was good. I am happy with this purchase.

This is the second DOT I have owned. It has been given as a gift and I have not heard what is thought of it. But the one I own is fun, plays music and if you add a speaker to it you can hear throughout the house.

I already have an Echo and another Dot. I got this for my desk at work to stream music and use the other features. I can even voice control my lights and thermostat at home from my office. These things are great.

I had plans to use it in my car but that changed soon because of amazon music subscription that is required. But it is good for home use. I have connected this with my bose companion speakers and use it daily now.

Reasonably easy set up, and really fun to play with. Great value for $25. Sounds good - makes a decent blue tooth speaker.

I orignally bought this to assist me with making my home a smart home. Alexa assist me with turning my lights on, and my air down. I love that I can ask her questions form the couch. Great little gadget to have.

I love having Alexa in the house. I know there are still many tasks I have yet to memorize to use but even just the basics are excellent! Music... timer... weather... news! Jokes! I just got one for my mom, too!

I use this in my room. The sound of the music is just fine. I use it as a back up alarm clock, too. I get the weather report and news briefs as I am getting ready for work. I plan on putting one in every bedroom.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this minimal device, but I really like it especially for the price. The main difference between the dot and the echo is the speaker, but it performs great in every other aspect.

One of the coolest products out there. Listen to local news, order products through Amazon, listen to music, make calls, turn on your lights, order pizza and that’s just a few things you can do. Very cool indeed!

Had to buy one for my kitchen! I love her I can talk to my family without holding a phone I can control my lights and timers she keeps me company and plays my playlists - for the small version it has good sound!

We have had an Echo for just over 2 years and love it, so much so that we wanted it in the living room and bedroom of our home to be able to access the smart home functions without having to be in the same room as the main Echo. The dot's are a perfect option for that to give you the functionality, and if you want to bolster the sound, you can with a bluetooth speaker or an aux chord. I wish more companies would offer this sort of stripped down option as an alternative to buying multiple high priced items.

We LOVE this thing! Only downfall is it does not always respond which is aggravating. Hoping there is an update eventually that will improve response. We use it more for playing music than anything else at this point as we do not have it connected to any other smart devices in the house yet. We use it with our wireless speakers and it connects flawlessly, plays very well. The on board speaker is good enough for some things but for music an external speaker is a must in my opinion. Really happy to see more apps coming out for this. We have not used the shopping feature and not sure if we ever will. Knocked a star off due to the lack of response........ if they get that fine tuned, it will definitely be a 5 star.
