Bought this on sale and wasn't sure if it would be as good as the full size one; works just as good and the sound quality is great!

When I was buying Amazon Echo I knew it was great but still didn't know how much it could do. This might be the best tech toy you'll buy in near future

Once you get the hang of it, it can be very helpful. Especially on those lazy nights when you can just ask Alexa to turn off the lights

Wonderful product and I cant believe there was a time that I didnt have alexa in my house. I cant remember the last time I touched a light switch or set an alarm on my phone. I use it primarily to listen to audio books, control my LIFX bulbs, control my fire tv stick, and as an alarm clock. I use some of its other functionality from time to time but on the whole I wish it had more useful skills in the skills store. 99% of the skills there are useless garbage. And why on earth is there no way to set a recurring reminder like you can with alarms? Audio quality is decent but not amazing which you should expect for only 50 bucks. I would recommend plugging it into a dedicated speaker for clearer audio. This tech isnt perfect. But its d*** good and getting better every day.

I have four of these. They work great! I have two of these in an office in an office environment. Great product.

I was leary of having a device connected to hear me, but now I like talking to Alexa. I have her turn on lights, play music, tell me the weather and news. I have not tested other features. This is only the start of home automation.

I really enjoy my dot so much, had to get mom one. You can do so much on it. Best part is its hands free, unlike touching phone to access information.

I put a white dot in our kitchen to go with our tile. Great to have Alexa as an extra kitchen timer and check the weather before heading out the door.

I'm really enjoying this device. I've hardly scratched the surface of its capabilities, but so far I really enjoy the news and weather summaries, using it as a timer, playing music and just getting quick info on a topic. Very cool.

Bought this for my daughter who has disabilities. She loves it and it’s so easy for her to use it plays games with her and keeps her engaged.

So glad I got this product. Not to mention all the features associated with it. Everyone in the house uses it and loves it. 5 starts no doubt

I love my little echo dot...Pandora, weather, traffic, news...any time I want it. Now if only Imcould get Alexa to clean my house or cook dinner!

Good product, but I did not know it did not have a battery.

Set it at the edge of the room, and it’s way easier to say “Alexa turn off the lights” when going to bed. The kids like to hear the jokes as well.

Love it, you could sing with her, exercise with her, get worldwide news, use it as a teaching tool for the kids and so much more.

I'm a huge fan of the Amazon Echo in general (I already own a full-size echo and a 1st-generation Echo Dot). This low-priced amazing gem has some really nice enhancements, such as the ability to have several echo dots (all 2nd-generation or later) in relatively close proximity, and only the one that "hears" you the best will respond. That way you don't have to have separate wake words for each device. Beyond that, just make sure that you use the Echo Dot (any generation) with an external Bluetooth speaker, as the built-in speaker on the dot is very poor.

Voice recognition is excellent. I use this to control my lights at home, Echo can detect my commands even through a noisy room. Would buy again.

Cool device and the compactness of it is nice. Good product.

This thing works fabulously. Hears and understands you well, plays music nicely (although we had trouble hooking it to alter Lansing speaker). So far we really like it, though it hasn't learned all its skills yet. Fun to play with!

She works perfectly and has by far exceeded my expectations.
