The Echo Dot is a perfect compliment to any older home entertainment system. Now I can play Pandora Spotify or Amazon music throughout the house.

I have 3 Amazon Echos of which 2 are Dots. They are so much fun, and well integrated with so many other products in my home: Wemo plugs, Lutron switches, ADT Pulse alarm system, Sonos etc. I enjoy the flexibility when cooking to use this for information and alarms, it settlse a fair amount of inquiries about innoucous information - Alexa when did WWI end, Where is Santa, How many records did the Beatles produce, what is the weather, how far is it to the north pole? I wouldn’t be without them! So now I give them to friends as gifts.

Use mine every day to turn on or off my lights tv even my thermostat all from the comfort of my sofa. And it can tell me jokes. win win

I love Alexa! I mostly use it for making lists and setting timers, but it's very helpful when you have your hands full or can't find your phone

The echo dot is great for working people you can talk and it will do whatever you want it to do. It will find your music and play it or turn the music up or down. I think my wife has enjoyed it as much or more than my kids have.

Nice to have alexa for information. You can listen to music, get weather, have jokes told etc!

Great for keeping a family shopping list . Just tell Alexa and it comes to all phones We use it all the time to stream music to a blue tooth speaker.

We bought this for my father-in-law to put in a different room away from his other echo dot. He was so happy to get a second one!

Strongly recommended. Makes my life easier. I have it more than 1 year and I love it. Combined with smart bulbs and plugs they are perfect.

I already own one Alexa and wanted to spread the assistant throughout the house. I purchased one for my upstairs and now I'm automated upstairs too!

Once you teach it some of the skills as well as it learns your voice, Echo is very responsive, and makes a nice connection with your different apps.

We received this when we purchased another item. Our daughter loves it. It plays music and answers all her commands on point.

I love the echo, I actually want to get two more. Why the 4 stars you ask? As amazing as it is, there are issues. Alexa doesn't respond when she's playing music. Guess she has a hard time hearing while playing. The skills are good but there are not very many and you have to enable them and then remember what skill to use. So say I want know how to get ink out of the carpet. I have to say Alexa ask good housekeeping how to get ink out of the carpet. Why can't I just ask ask her directly? If you do she'll say I can't find what your asking. Want drink ingridents you have to ask the bartender app and know what it's called. So it's still so so worth getting. I love the music ability even though she gets confused about my playlists. Once you learn how to use Alexa it's ok and lots of fun.

Easy to set up and use. Great for things like setting timers and reminders. Great for adding things to lists without having to write them down

My in-laws loved it as a Christmas gift!! They are constantly talking to it. Music, trivia, etc. Easy to figure out (even for a 75 yr old).

Got this device to work with hue as well as Cree nest thermostat Sonos system as well as neato robot vacuum. Love it everything works like it should
