I Have one of these and bought one for my Son who lives in another city. He just loves it. It does more then he expected. This was money well spent.

I actually have four of these in different rooms of the house and they pair easily with my Bluetooth speakers - very handy.

A great entry level product to enter the world of Alexa and making everything a “smart” product. Yes the sound isn’t that powerful but you’ll hear her answers fine. Great for a bathroom or small kids room

The echo dot is great for working people you can talk and it will do whatever you want it to do. It will find your music and play it or turn the music up or down. I think my wife has enjoyed it as much or more than my kids have.

Alexa can answer most questions. Great for checking weather in areas where our grand kids live and for places we want to travel.

I already own one Alexa and wanted to spread the assistant throughout the house. I purchased one for my upstairs and now I'm automated upstairs too!

Great for keeping a family shopping list . Just tell Alexa and it comes to all phones We use it all the time to stream music to a blue tooth speaker.

Once you teach it some of the skills as well as it learns your voice, Echo is very responsive, and makes a nice connection with your different apps.

I love the echo, I actually want to get two more. Why the 4 stars you ask? As amazing as it is, there are issues. Alexa doesn't respond when she's playing music. Guess she has a hard time hearing while playing. The skills are good but there are not very many and you have to enable them and then remember what skill to use. So say I want know how to get ink out of the carpet. I have to say Alexa ask good housekeeping how to get ink out of the carpet. Why can't I just ask ask her directly? If you do she'll say I can't find what your asking. Want drink ingridents you have to ask the bartender app and know what it's called. So it's still so so worth getting. I love the music ability even though she gets confused about my playlists. Once you learn how to use Alexa it's ok and lots of fun.

Talking to Alexa makes it more than easy to play my music from multiple apps and music sources. Always gives updates and was a breeze to setup!

I can play practically any song I want on demand, and get answers to almost any question I ask. Connected seemlessly with my bluetooth speaker.

Got this device to work with hue as well as Cree nest thermostat Sonos system as well as neato robot vacuum. Love it everything works like it should

We love automating our home with Echo and Echo dots. Alexa does it all! Easy set up and does more than we originally thought....

My buddy got the Amazon Echo as a gift and it was cool to see in action. I thought the Dot was much of the same guts but just missing the Bluetooth speaker, which it is but there is another caveat, if you want music you have to subscribe to a premium music service. You cannot use the Dot to stream music from your phone. The dot makes a Bluetooth connection to an external speaker and then uses wi-fi to connect to a music service. This should have been intuitively obvious to me when I thought about the device but I was caught up in the 'wow this little thing is cool' mindset. If you subscribe to spotify, pandora, or Amazon music and that is your preferred music source, you will love this thing, if instead you prefer your own music and playlist, get the Echo (which is very cool BTW).

The echo dot is a great product at a great price. The echo dot does all kind of things. It is like a personal assistant and bluetooth speaker in one.

Inexpensive and with almost all the same features of Echo.

My wife loved this present. The kids like and use it too.
