Works without Alexia, I use in my bedroom. It plays my favorite songs, and radio stations, whenever I tell it to!

This speaker was fun and worked great however once I read some online reviews and a friend warned me that alexa can record conversations or text people in your contacts without you knowing, I returned it immediately. Amazon has said they are working on such issues. Alexa is very sensitive to voice so if you are even speaking in another room it can pick up words and may interpret that you are telling it to carry out a command. Other than that I would have definitely kept this wonderful gadget.

The echo dot is a great product and very easy to use. Works well with my iPhone 8, Sonos Speaker, and Bose Soundlink Speaker. I love it!

This is a super way to access Alexa services with Amazon.com. I already use the Echo and this just adds even more value to my original purchase.

It is not as "smart" as I had hoped. It constantly says it "doesn't know that"...These are questions that I believe Google would know however it seems to mainly pull from Wikipedia. I'm going to go buy a Google Mini and see which one is better and return the other one.

I replaced my alarm clock in the bedroom with the echo dot. Now it wakes me up and I can get a handle on the weather while I'm dressing.

I love it but wish it could connect to the internet.☹️. Every time I ask a question or ask Alexa to look something up she says she doesn't understand the question. Big bummer. Other than that I'm having fun with the eco dot.

Works pretty good. Not sure if it listens to our conversation? Don't like that part. Plays any kind of music requested. Not as good as Pandora but amazing sound from little Echo Dot. Probably will keep it. thanks

I have the Big Alexa in my kitchen and my kids would always play music and talk to her so I bought the dot for them upstairs. Awesome!!!

I bought 3 of these for my family. Everyone was a little hesitant at first. Now they can’t stop using their echo. I will be buying more!

This is a good product and would recomend. I ask her everyday to tell me a joke and tell me the weather. Love how she turns on my lights

Works great. I also have the larger version. Both sound really good, but the larger one sounds quite a bit better than the smaller version.

We have 1 of these in the house. Have 1 in the garage. Great for playing music. Bluetooth does not work with all wireless speakers. used the accessory jack to hook to a receiver. kids love to hear it tell jokes

Great product for low price. Allows you entry to the world of assistants. Will purchase additional echo's in future to cover the house.

Love this little guy. We talk all day. She keeps me up to date on news and the weather. Paired my "Dot" with a little Bose mini and I can listen to any music I want, anytime I want, by just saying "Alexis play ____. Awesome!
