A great device to start basic home automation

Everyone in the household uses them for basic info like weather and sports scores. I’ve installed a few of the Caseta light switches from Lutron and we control several lighting zones with Alexa as well. Just added a couple of plugs and have been using those frequently as well. The sound quality is not as good as the 3rd Gen dot or the larger echo units, but we don’t play music on these so it not a problem for us.

My Echo Dot
