It's takes a while to get used to it. But overall it is very helpful to have in our home. I plan on making a full smart home so we will add all pieces to places around the house. Be sure to enter all info in correctly during set up (with no fat finger mistakes) because it took forever to get that fixed!

The Dot Echo is super convenient. Especially if you don’t have time to look up info. Just ask Alexa and she probably knows. Plus they’re always adding new features and capabilities to Alexa. Buy One and enjoy!

I bought this product as a gift for my son, to have in his room to play music and to use it as an alarm clock. So far my son loves it and I like it because I can also control all of My sonos speaker with it.

She is a little tricky to set up with all electronics but well worth it once it is done. Between this and our Phillips Hue lights and our Harmony remote we are having a blast controlling our semi-smart home!

Now I can control all my wemo and Sonos speakers with the sound of my voice! Super easy to set up with app. Alexa can even tell jokes. The grand kids love to ask Alexa questions. Love it ,love it, love it !

We bought this for our bedroom after having the Amazon Echo for the living room. It works great for many things but especially for alarms, tranquil music and for my wife to add items to the “Honey Do” list.

I have alexa and when my 5yr old grandson comes to visit he sings with her and dances around. He loves my alexa so I bought him the echo dot for Christmas. Can't wait to see his face when he opens that one!

These little gadgets are very helpful. They can answer most of your questions, helpful in the kitchen and can operate many devices around the home. I have the Echo and the Echo Dot and plan on getting more.

The dot vs the echo has the same capability except the dot cost $49 with not so good speaker and the echo cost $179 with a better speaker. Is the echo speaker worth $139 sound quality difference I didn't think so. I picked up a nice sound bar with Bluetooth for $99 to connect to the echo and no comparison in sound quality vs echo. The dot has all the same abilities of the echo and I think it's well worth the $49 as a voice control device. It can control an assortment of wireless devices, give you information by voice command and very compact in size. The reason for 4 stars is when asked a question it doesn't respond with an answer alot of times, where as Google voice has a much better knowledge base.

We purchase a few Echo Dots and have them all around the house connected to different speakers. I have one connected to a Bose sound dock 10 and it come in very handy in controlling the music. The kids ask it questions about the weather or facts they may need to check and it works very well. We have another Bose speaker in our bedroom that is not bluetooth so by connecting the Echo dot to it we can control our music with our voices by speaking to Alexa and it works great.

I spent a lot of time researching which home assistant I would like to purchase and I ended up going with the Amazon Echo Dot and I am so glad I did. Great investment and a convenience that I use everyday!

I got the DOT for my wife to have in the Bedroom. Our regular Echo is out in the living room and the DOT is the perfect thing to extend our use of the Echo product. She can verbally set an alarm, timer or music in the bedroom or ask anything she asks the front room Echo. It is well worth the price to be able to extend the ability to use the Echo. I highly recommend it because it is small and fits right one of the dressers but has great sound for such a small looking speaker.

Product works flawlessly it is great for expanding to your bedrooms and offices don’t recommend to get for quality of sound but for communicating and asking questions and getting reports it works fantastic

Family members told us this was a must purchase and I agree. We purchased a few smart plugs as well for decorations and we were not disappointed. Very easy to download the app and use from your smartphone.

Alexa is quickly becoming my friend. While it is confusing trying to figure out which skills to enable for Alexa, once you have decided and added the skill set, she functions flawlessly. Also works seamlessly with the Alexa app on the phone, so you can leave reminders to yourself by talking to Alexa.

The Echo dot is so easy to set up and use. It is fun to play with and really helps with keeping my life organized. I think everyone should have one, and with this low price it’s very affordable to get it.

Awesome gift for those individuals who are hard to buy for...Less than $50, this is guaranteed to bring joy to the young and the young-at-heart. Requires some reading, but otherwise set-up is pretty easy.

I love this Echo Dot so much that I went back and bought 10 more for Christmas present for friend and family. I can control my lights, play games, listen to the radio, alarm clock, reminders, etc etc etc.
