Bought it on impulse, but so far its quite good. I don't have a connected home, but I feel this could make the various technologies come together well. Looking froward to seeing what else Alexa can do for me in the future.

I bought this for my roommate and he loves this. He wasn't sure he would like it from the reviews but he absolutely loves this. Best gift ever.

Great for controlling the thermostat and setting the alarm without having to even move from my comfortable sleeping spot.

I purchased this as a gift for my parents who are in there late 70's they seem to like it. The shopping list, music, weather are the most used. They are still learning. The grandkids play with it too when they come over.

My wife and I unknowingly bought these for each other for Christmas so we now have two in the house and we really enjoy them.

Works great and cheaper than other places. I have 6 of them and have not been disappointed yet!

Quick set up and Alexa went to work. Love all it can do, from playing my favorite music, finding a recipe or being my timer.

Easy set up , responds to questions, okay sound quality

This is our second echo dot. We bought it to put in our basement so we can “drop in” when the kids are down there to talk to them. It doesn’t aleays work well and the voice fades in and out so you can only hear every few words. Our one in our kitchen works better

We use it on a daily basis. great interface. very much a user easy product. they update Alexa almost everyday with better and new options.

Right now I really only use it for weather and news and for musician interval training, but it is really handy and a great size for the office.

I love my amizon dot . I’m buying the rest of what goes with it in a few weeks to test out how it will turn off lights and cast

This is not a necessity but once you have it so convenient to use your voice to control lights, music and even order pizza and amazon products.

immediate access to weather, news and song of my choice. I love asking it questions and it is such a wonderful addition to our home.

We brought this for our daughter to place in her room and we would not have to yell to call on her. Works great and see likes it.

My first smart speaker, I wasn't sure just how much I would use it. But I find more and more things to ask her. Love it!

I like the Amazon echo that it works real good with the electronic things are already here. I just bought the Bluetooth plugs I can wait to hook them up and see how good it works with the Echo Dot.

I have found this product to work as advertised so far. The distance from device for commands is impressive and it has performed admirably. The device needs to improve in some areas like increased functionality. In what it can do it seems to do very well but it will not respond unless you ask your question in a precise manner. Better instructions; the ability to add your own wake up name; a better understanding in recognizing the different ways a question can be asked to get a response and the ability to get more information on a question instead of stopping or referring you to a web site for more information would be appreciated. For the price it's fills the need for which I bought it and hope that it will increase in it's functionality as time goes on.

My daughters both use them and find them irreplacable.

Fantastic for the whole family...I spend much less time doing for everyone, they can now search things, pull-up their music on their own etc!
