Fun to use and helpful in daily easy questions. The kids like to ask it random questions and a good task manager and reminder.

I like it , specially my kids play and ask Alexa information , and play the music is easy for connect to my cellphone

I had been hesitant about buying one of the echo dots versus the larger Alexa device, but the echo dot works perfectly. I love it.

Plays music. Small. Easy to use. Less costly than buying the more expensive echo if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

I can't wait for my husband to get to his first crossword puzzle question that he can't answer and ask his Echo Dot!

It is do small yet offers do much easy to use even the grandkids use it unlimited wealth of information and such a great price

Lots of fun, my grandkids ask the goofiest things, but it's suprising how they can learn things they never expected.

Mom recently lost her sight. I let her try Amazon's Audible, and she chose Gone With the Wind. Since she cannot see to operate a tablet or phone, I bought her an Amazon Echo Dot My blind mom can just say "Alexa, read Gone with The Wind" to start the narration. She can pause, stop, change chapters, hear samples of other Audible titles. It is a light in the dark for her. A (not so) small miricle.

Awesome way to enter the smart home market. Would recommend to older generations due to it being so easy to set up and control

When these were on sale for $29.99 they were a steal. I gave one to each of my children. Alexa can even tell bed time stories.

It was great at first, but kept disconnecting from my WiFi, and also kept answering to the Alexa commercials. When it works, it’s great, but hate having to reset it up all the time.

The amazon dot does everything the echo does just it a smaller form. Only down side is the acoustics aren't nearly as good as the Echo.

This device was a real surprise. It answers almost all of my questions. It gives me a daily summary of the news. I purchased the Amazon Library of music and it is really fun. You ask it to play any song and it plays that song. You ask it to play songs by any artist and it plays a list of songs by that artist. You can ask it to skip songs and turn up or down the volume. This is a lot of fun. One problem, I can't figure out how to use it to turn off and on lights since I can"t get a Wemo to connect to my Wify.

I love to control my tv and everything in combination with harmony hub. Also, my kid loves to ask Alexa for music so he can dance.

I have this hooked up to my Phillips Hue and it works great. It's nice being able to turn on lights with just an easy voice command

It continues to get better features. Kids love it. Nice to be able to use your voice to control so many things in the house.

Well made device that works great! Lots of neat tricks and handy functions. Really just the doorway to home automation, but an affordable one at that. In the end though, still more novelty than necessity.

The Echo Dot is perfect for a smaller room and is able to sync with your main unit in another part of the house. Just right!

Echo dot is great even with the small speaker. I have a few in the house, some in kids' bedrooms. Great for music and light controls.

My daughter was born blind and has autism; she can turn on lights, make calls, send texts, learn to spell words etc.
