The Echo Dot is worth the money if you want to use it in a location by an outlet. I would prefer if it had a rechargeable battery so it was a little more convenient, but overall I really enjoy it.

Great product at a great price. Disappointed they were out of stock and not available on backorder when I went back for another one.

Beware this works too good. This is just the beginning. You have seen the movies. What was science fiction is reality today and what is science fiction today will be reality tomorrow. Look at the movies and TV of the 40s - 90s and see the products today that were science fiction. I already know people who talk about and call it "Her" or by it's product name "Alexa" as if it's a friend or family member . My recommendation is questionable since I am torn over it. Technology is dumbing us down it is not our friend.

Very useful to listening to music. Helpful in answering questions about weather, current events and school work. Enjoyable to have!!

My first Alexa purchase. Hubby loves it. He uses it every morning before work to get a rundown on news, weather and sports.

I have it to control my Phillip Hue lights and mainly to listen to music or ask a question ever now and then. Works great!

Excellent for reminders, music play and just plain fun while experiencing new commands. It made a great gift to a teenager.

I purchased this dot to go along with the rest of our smart home. Do yourselves a favor and keep things simple. Tp Link and Alexa

Alexa is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Hook her up and you'll be amazed. Bought the light kits and now I'm more than happy.

Awesome product...have it hooked up to a Sony SRSX55 sub woofer...the sound is clear as a bell. Do not regret the purchase one bit.

This is well worth the price just for the intercom feature alone. Add music and smart controls, and it is truly invaluable.

The volume is very low on this one. Ended up giving it to my grandkids. Have to be in the same room to hear it

Same software in a compact unit. Speaker not bad, but inferior to larger Echo. On the plus side, Dot has audio out port to connect your favorite audio system. At approx 23% of larger Echo price, it's a steal.

Love my echo dot. It’s so nice to just ask her to turn in the lights when I walk into the room with my hands full
