The Echo Dot is a great way to get Alexa in your home for a low price. Amazon’s Alexa is very intuitive and helpful and the Dot allows her integration without having to spend $150+ dollars. Thumbs up

In addition to my Amazon Echo in the living room I have added an Echo Dot in both my office and bedroom. Combined with a Wink Hub I can control Hue lights, Osram lights, ceiling fan (with IFTTT) and compatible power outlets. "Alexa, turn off downstairs" turns off all of the lights on the first floor. "Alexa, turn off office stuff" shuts down my PC speakers, external Hard Drives and the ceiling fan. With Logitech Harmony I can turn on TV to a channel, Roku, OTA Tivo or DVD.

We have one echo.and decided to get one for each of our teenage children. How awesome was it to buy them for less than $30 on Black Friday. Going to be the perfect gift for those who have everything

To home automation, this is my 3rd one and use it for light automation, music, and much more. Well worth the normal retail, unbeliveable deal whole on sale! Buy multiple and create multi room audio.

Good entry level voice Assistant. Capable on anything from helping you exercise (via 3rd party Skills) or playing music and reading audio books. Can be connected to better speakers (unlike the Full size Echo) and can be used with home automation equipment and services. Timers, Shopping Lists, Alarm and shared calendars are great. Works great in the kitchen, bedroom, family room ect...Bought several as Christmas presents for $40 each for family and friends. No complaints from anyone.

I really enjoy all the skills Alexa can do! It has been fun to try out different smart devices and set up routines. I really appreciate being able to ask her pretty much anything without having to use my phone! I have had my echo dots for 4 years and have had no problems with them, The speaker is not the greatest for loud music, but for casual listening it is fine!

Echo 2nd Generation resides in my living room and meets my needs for it’s great sound for playing music while the Echo Dots and switches are scattered about my home. Alexa is there when I need her!

Great product I have three of them very easy to sync up with the house and very convenient as an alarm or sleep music

Bought the Echo Dot on a whim because it was only $29.00. I have come to love it. I am doing more & more with it. Because of where I placed it I did purchase and pair it to an external Bose speaker

I bought this device as a gift, but love the Echo devices. Easy to setup and easy to manage through the app on your smartphone or online. Great for controlling other devices, such as the FireStick.

I really like my Echo Dot. At first I was not sure about getting it vs. the larger Alexa unit. After using the Dot I found that it works well and can attach to external speakers via Bluetooth for added sound. It is a little for her to understand at times being close to the TV, but that is not her fault. She answers most all of the questions I and my family have asked and will even sing you a song. I will probably add a hub soon for lights and then Alexa can turn them on and off.

Loving this for both smart device control as well as learning and interacting with data. Easier to use than certain other competitors too. A no-brainer at current pricing for everyone to get a few!

Didn’t know how much I would use this. But it was at a price I couldn’t turn down. So far very happy with it. I primarily use it for my smart house products which is very easy to setup. Probably only issue is it doesn’t always understand my voice or commands as well as I thought it should.

Very easy to set up, Very useful as well as fun, I use it for music, spelling, an alarm clock and a reminder.

It was very easy to set up. I ask her for jokes all the time, some are really funny! I will definitely buy more for other rooms in the house. There are so many skills I'll never get bored with it.

I have several Amazon Dots in the house and I use them for music (some connected to speakers, others not) and as the control for other smart home products in the house. It is nice to turn on and off lights just by speaking. I like that Amazon is up front that this is a way for them to sell goods rather than the Trojan horse of the Google home product. The integration with other products is great and I am really looking forward to the announced but not released Sonos integration.

Works flawless with my Wink v.1 home automation hub. I have also imported all rooms and lights to the Alexa app and works great. Amazon is constantly updating the app and device with new features.

echo makes life easier! I add things to my lists, have my favorite music playing all the time, set timers & reminders, and more!!! I have the echo show in my living room and a dot in the bedroom!
