I have an echo, and wanted the Dot for my bedroom. Very pleased. Works great and the speaker from this is surprisingly good.

I love Alexa!! It’s amazing to be able to talk out loud and get whatever I need. Mostly it’s to get some music playing.

If you looking at this to play music you will need to either use a Bluetooth speaker or use the AUX out to connect to a stereo. If you just want it for the home automation function this is all you need.

My whole family loves asking questions, playing games, listening to music and they really love it when she tells jokes.

We love our Dot~ it’s helpful and fun. Works well with lots of apps. Our favorite is adding items to our shopping list.

Echo Dot is great if you don't want to spend a lot of money to get the Alexa . Your able to hook up your stereo or a blue tooth speaker. There are a bunch of features you can do with this great device.

Great small speaker device coupled with Alexa in multiple rooms creates fantastic entertaining and communication system

This small unit does it all. I thought I might need the bigger unit but decided to try the Dot first and am glad I did.

I have 2 of these 1 in the basement and upstairs great listening music on and its connected too my surround sound just awesome

It's fun in the early days to ask it the weather, etc, and easier than picking up my phone to ask Siri, but maybe a fad that will wear off? But cheap so ok

Excellent device. Lower cost alternative to Echo to allow use in rooms which do not require expense Echo with high end speaker.

Such a nice addition, I decided to give them for gifts. It hears the TV so sometimes she talks at random times.

The Echo Dot is great! I use it all the time to make lists, a timer, facts, and reminders. Very beneficial for anyone!

We originally purchased an echo with our Phillips Hue lighting kit. You can control the lights (turn on and off plus dimming) with your voice. The echo is super responsive to voice commands and quick to respond to tasks. We have ended up using a multitude of features such as checking the weather, creating timers, setting up with our wi-fi thermostat so that Alexa can control the indoor temperature, as well as with our smart lighting. We now have 4 Echo Dots in the house and use them daily.

Bought this for a present. It's easy to use and makes music searching ready. Just doesn't find un common songs but still works!

I love that Alexa now is compatible with Apple Music. The speaker quality is good. Fun little device to have!

The echo works well to use with Phillips hue bulbs. We also use it for weather updates, music, and many additional features.
