I Love my DOT it tell me everything !!!

The primary difference in functionality is music quality...very good on the Dot but less so than the full size Echo. If you want better, pair it with a nice Bluetooth speaker and you not only improve the sound, you also gain portability of music. As more and more abilities are added to all the Echo devices, you are always up to date. As a solo device or as a second device, the Dot is a lot of bang for the bucks.

Works great with current stereo system

Great product for the mentally challenged

She calls out to Alexia, "How do you spell Cooper?", and it replies to her the correct spelling. Now maybe her text messages will be readable to others! She calls out to Alexia, "what is the weather today?" And Alexia gives the days forecast. Now she knows how to dress to be prepared for the day. Alexia plays music for her also. She is truly enjoying this modern day marvel!!!

Fun device - pretty good voice recognition
