Bought this for my preteen daughter. Very helpful for setting timers and playing music in the background while she does homework. Also nice to have access to Wikipedia to help out too

Very easy to set up. No sense buying the Echo if you already have a Bluetooth speaker; the Dot easily connects to the speaker.

This is an excellent learning tool and assistant. I'm impressed!!!!! You can ask Alexa anything and usually She has an answer.

We got this for our daughter for Christmas, she is 37 and mentally challenged. She calls out to Alexia, "How do you spell Cooper?", and it replies to her the correct spelling. Now maybe her text messages will be readable to others! She calls out to Alexia, "what is the weather today?" And Alexia gives the days forecast. Now she knows how to dress to be prepared for the day. Alexia plays music for her also. She is truly enjoying this modern day marvel!!!

I enjoy this dot alot. it helps me with cooking, finding info, and playing music. Its a great buy for anyone.

I have Echo's all around my house. I am constantly using Alexa to tell me the time or the weather or even to turn off lights.

I like the intuitive features. I use it in someway almost every day. Great for news, weather, shopping lists and to do lists.

I have the tall Echo and this Dot is surprisingly comparible in sound at a lower cost. Great gift for family.

Best way to play music whenever yo want. Mounted it in the kitchen and use it daily.

This is great Lil echo. I have amazon prime so it works great with that. It was really easy to get going and link up.

The dot is so easy to use. Got it for my 80 year old mom and she loves being able to play music and get news updates.

This was a last minute purchase for Christmas and it has proven to be an excellent addition to our home. We frequently "ask Alexa" all kinds of items and she will usually answer our questions and even tell the occasional corny joke in a cheery voice. The kids use her assistance for looking up information quickly when doing homework. We haven't connected her to the music collection yet as the speaker in this unit isn't very powerful or clear. Still Alex serves her intended function well. The next step is to get a better speaker to connect for playing some tunes. We may also a few "smart" items so she can dim the lights. I would recommend adding one to your home.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for a teenage daughter. Easy to set up. When setting up when close to other dots all will hear. If looking for better sound buy 3rd generation.

I like asking her to tell me the weather. Mostly I use it to play music. I like amazon music a lot better than having iTunes.

Great product for home. Pair it with Apple Music or any other music app and you can play music through it

I am impressed with this little Echo Dot. The sound is very good. It's clear and connects to all my devices.

Great for small rooms or if your on a budget and can't afford the regular Echo. Very crisp and clear speaker for its size.

I think it is a great product, my daughter really likes music and she can just ask her to play something and it does.
