Bought this for my preteen daughter. Very helpful for setting timers and playing music in the background while she does homework. Also nice to have access to Wikipedia to help out too

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for a teenage daughter. Easy to set up. When setting up when close to other dots all will hear. If looking for better sound buy 3rd generation.

The dot is awesome. I use it mostly for playing music but it's also great for finding out the weather or other quick facts.

I first purchased an Alexa for upstairs room. This Christmas I bought the Echo Dot for the kitchen. It is convenience to have Echo for listening to music, ask question and use it as a timer.

Still trying to get my house full automated but this fits in an end table completely out of side for a wealth of information

I recently purchased the echo dot and it has been able to control my lights, tv and just about anything I connect to it.

This was a gift for a relative. That make a great gift for someone who likes tech. And especially likes to listen to music.

This was a last minute purchase for Christmas and it has proven to be an excellent addition to our home. We frequently "ask Alexa" all kinds of items and she will usually answer our questions and even tell the occasional corny joke in a cheery voice. The kids use her assistance for looking up information quickly when doing homework. We haven't connected her to the music collection yet as the speaker in this unit isn't very powerful or clear. Still Alex serves her intended function well. The next step is to get a better speaker to connect for playing some tunes. We may also a few "smart" items so she can dim the lights. I would recommend adding one to your home.

The dot is so easy to use. Got it for my 80 year old mom and she loves being able to play music and get news updates.

This is great Lil echo. I have amazon prime so it works great with that. It was really easy to get going and link up.
