The amazon echo dot does what it says, you can order, play music and give other commands. My only downfall is that it is not very loud on the highest volume setting.

All the features of the full-sized Echo, but significantly less robust speaker. When we want more premium sound it connects via Bluetooth to great speakers we already had. Overall a good value.

I bought three Google Homes when they first went on sale for $29 this past holiday season and being the go hard Google Guy that I am, I am still to this day having minor regrets on buying them, especially once I got The Echo Dot with Alexa!! Alexa is much more helpful and SOOO MUCH EASIER to set up, ESPECIALLY with home automation and devices, compared to The Google Home Mini.. Now my only TRUE regret? Not buying more Echo Dot's during the holiday promotions!

Great way to stream music to your Bluetooth speaker. Alexa's range is great. Voice commands work from across the room.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much for less than $50, but the Dot has surprised me. The response from the other side of the room is excellent and if the word "Alexa" is spoken on the TV, the Dot responds. I did learn that questions have to be asked in a certain way to get some responses, but I figured there would be a learning curve. The Dot controls our new shades with IFTTT perfectly and may get the Phillips Hue light set in the future. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Nice sound for size. I have it paired with all my other devices and echos. All price is very reasonable.

Alexa is very smart. Ask her many things. I like asking her the weather forecast. Quality is great for the price.

Works well but might not be the best for just one speaker. Having a bluetooth speaker attached makes it better.
