Added this to our house and works perfectly. The show was a little more difficult to set up, this was a breeze

It recognizes my voice so easily and works so smooth on search and connectivity to my bose speaker is great.

The echo dot performs as is its reputation. Great for turning lights on it getting the weather report

If you like what Alexa and her skills (i.e., apps) can do for you, the Echo is likely the best way in. At $50 (or $40 during Black Friday), you get all of the full-fledged Echo's functionality except the good speaker. But that may not matter if you already have good speakers to hook up, or don't need to listen to music. The Dot's speaker is fine for that. One thing to note is that the new Echo Dot (2nd Gen) is cheaper because they replaced the volume ring with volume buttons.

This is a very fun product especially for the price. You can learn local weather and traffic simply by asking.

This thing is useful AF and plain fun! I like it so much I made it a gift for at least 6 people this Christmas

Alexa on the Dot is quite the little helper. The setup is extremely easy. I am learning new things about Alexa every day. She keeps me updated on the weather, MN Twins, trivia, and other stuff. For the price of the Echo Dot, it is worth it. You may want to upgrade to her older sister who has a larger speaker. You can certainly find a reason to keep the family together or pass onto a family member or friend.. I definitely recommend the Echo Dot especially at a sale price

Hooked it to wireless internet. Works great. Simple to use. Excellent gift for parents entertainment.

Very happy with my Echo Dot. New features are added frequently. I live in a very small apartment and the design blends well with my decor, It captures my voice commands from other rooms quite accurately. It's loud enough so I hear timers, alarms and music when in other rooms. I like that I can set specific reminders, alarms and timers such as "remind me to call Jeff at 2:30", and it responds at 2:30 with "This is a reminder, Call Jeff".

Very small and compact and a great companion in the absence of others. My mother in law loves it as she talks to "Alexa" to give her the weather report, set reminders, ask questions to, etc.

I have purchased five of the alexa dots and have them for all my family members. They get used daily.

we really enjoy it gets are cats looking around sometimes but all and all we like it very much. plan on buying more.
