I bought this because I was told it worked great. Me and boyfriend are beyond happy with it.

Got this as a free add-on to a Ring security camera. Haven't really used this one but we like our Echo so I'm certain this will be just as good.

Works as announced. Fun gadget and useful. Gave to my father for his Bday and he uses it daily.

This is the 6th Echo Dot I've purchased in the past 6 weeks. Don't get my wrong, I haven't had to return any, I've just enjoyed the conveniences so much I've added more to my home and gave out a few as Christmas gifts. Be warned, Amazon has not yet perfected voice commands, it does get frustrating having to repeat basic commands. Fortunately this doesn't happen all the time. Also if your overly worried about privacy, this may not be for you. The Echo Dot listens for its "wake" word and it does record to the cloud your commands. I'm cautiously monitoring this on the Alexa app and it does concern me a little.

Mini Alexa with s another fun one to have. Was a perfect gift for 8 year old. She loves it.

Helps me start my day and hears me very clearly. Setting alarms and reminders are a breeze.

I resisted getting an echo for a long time but then Best Buy offered crazy low pricing and that’s all it took. Setup was easy and we have had fun chatting with Alexa. I stream music each morning after setting up the skill on the Alexa app on my phone. Gets easier to use each day. Buying more for gifts. Adding a good speaker or pairing with a Bluetooth speaker helps audio quality, too. Good times!

If you wanna play with the whole Alexa feature for Amazon but don't want the price of the larger one, this little device is great. Still learning all the cool tricks.

The Dot seems pretty good value at the current $50 and does most simple things well. Bought it largely to play with voice technology and it does a good job of connecting to internet radio and then playing through my TV's sound bar. The Dot's own speaker is a bit of a compromise but fine for voice. That presumably is one of the main differences between the Dot and the larger much more expensive Echo range products. Pleased so far.
