Got this as a free add-on to a Ring security camera. Haven't really used this one but we like our Echo so I'm certain this will be just as good.

This works perfect in the bedroom. Great for background music and timer. Nice compact size.

I love love love this. In fact I’ve got three in my house. They’re great for information such as weather forecasts and time of day and simple questions like that. But they also do intercom‘s throughout the house. They along with my home hub control lights, locks, and many more items in my house. I can’t imagine not having an Echo Dot and Alexa in my home.

I resisted getting an echo for a long time but then Best Buy offered crazy low pricing and that’s all it took. Setup was easy and we have had fun chatting with Alexa. I stream music each morning after setting up the skill on the Alexa app on my phone. Gets easier to use each day. Buying more for gifts. Adding a good speaker or pairing with a Bluetooth speaker helps audio quality, too. Good times!

Love the echo dot. Alexa sets alarms and gives me the weather everyday. Great as gifts too.

The price of this makes it hard to understand how anybody would want to buy a full scale Echo. The AV jack in back lets you connect to a surround receiver for awesome audio. The function is great as it interacts well with Google calendars. Lots of 3rd parts Skills make it incredibly smart. Only complaint is it doesn't let you stream one audio source to multiple Echo Dots like Google Home does and no support for sending voice commands to watch videos on a streaming device. I guess it also isn't the best at searching stuff on the web. Where it does beat the Home is in Smart Home device connectivity.

Works great in my kitchen as a timer and plays music to keep me happy while i cook. I'm impressed
