The Echo Dot makes it so much easier to relax and enjoy being at home, it connect to every aspect of my home allowing me to control it with nothing but my voice. Just great!

Simple to use. Hooks up great with Alexa. So glad I bought it. I actually bought four of them and can play four different types of music in the different rooms. Awesome!!!

Alexa is not better than Google and Google is not better than Alexa they both have their different things they do Just pick one or the other You'll be happy with either or

This product is absolutely perfect. I can use it as a timer when I’m cooking I can use it as a Bose speaker when I want to sleep at night and listen to music it is perfect

ONLY missing a star due to the speaker (an easy fix by upgrading to the larger Echo) other than that this is the most amazing thing ever! It has some amazing features and makes the BEST assistant for a working wife & mom! Set reminders, alarms, play music throughout your home, link multiple calendar and email accounts so everyone can toggle betwen & access them easily, control your Fire TV, even "drop in" on your household with the push of a button on your phone at any time, from anywhere and have an almost crystal clear conversation! Just as a precaution, warn your household that this is a feature BEFORE you do it for the first time! Scared the life out of my 20 yr. old daughter (SO worth it btw, lol!) You can literllay build your grocery list by speaking it from standing at your pantry and it sync with your phone simutaneously?! Dude...there's nothing left to say. BUY IT!

Originally I purchased the Echo and due to poor speaker quality chose the dot. I pair the dot with my Bose Soundlink Speaker and have great sound with a perfect assistant.

I originally bought the echo dot to control my living room lights without the use of my smart phone. Afterwards I’ve found it’s great for lists and streaming radio stations

Purchased this for our bathroom and very happy I did. I can communicate with my husband without entering the death trap lol. Playing music while in the shower is amazing.

This little device is all that I hoped for and more! I read reviews online before the purchase and decided to get one based on the positive reviews. My brother has the original first generation Amazon Echo and I was always intrigued and wanted to get one but could never justify the price. Fast forward to Best Buy having a sale on the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot, and I couldn't resist. Setup was a breeze, it works in unison with the Alexa app on your smartphone. Pairing it was simple enough. I purchased multiple Echo Dots to have in other rooms, but have yet to set them up. I am looking forward to having access to my new personal assistant in my bedroom, great room, kitchen, and office at work very soon! For the price you really can't beat this product. If you are on the fence do yourself a favor and try this product. You won't be disappointed. I purchased the white for the great room and kitchen and a black for my bedroom and office. The packaging is minimal and the device feels very solid! Came with power cord and instruction manual. No aux cable, which I learned from reviews, was included in the original version of the Echo Dot. The voice recognition has been outstanding for me. Even when speaking to the Dot that is sitting on the entertainment center, and sitting on the couch about 8 feet away while listening to music. I have the Echo Dot connected via a Bluetooth Dongle/transmitter that I purchased at Radio Shack to my Yamaha receiver. Also I'd be happy to answer any questions as well. I hope this review helps! This is my 2nd Alexa device. I have one for my bedroom and one for the living room. I love any smart device that makes life a little easier. This is awesome buy one soon.

Saw this on sale, and decided to pick up another one. Playing music to groups is a huge plus, but Amazon can do better by allowing echos to be members of multiple groups.

The Echo Dot is a great device for people who aren't ready to put a large investment into the Alexa devices by Amazon. It's very easy to setup and the built in speaker sounds great. If you're wanting full sound you will need to get a Bluetooth speaker system to go with this OR use the 3.5mm jack that this device as in it. It's fun to use with all the home automation stuff like Philips HUE and Amazon fire stick.

Coolest gadget I’ve ever bought. I have bought the echo.for presents for coworkers and family. Once they plug them in and start using them they are hooked. Extremely cool

This is a must have for every family member. Old/young, it doesn't matter everyone can learn to use Alexa. New skills are added daily so she will only continue to improve.

I am hooked on Amazon products. I went as far as purchasing either a dot, echo, or show for each of my rooms (bedrooms). Amazon products are my top selection for any gift!

Echo Dot is amazing to have around your house. Favorite part is that could listenin to my music while I’m at the shower or If I have a question that needs to be answered.

Great product if your unsure how much these type of products will help your home life, works with almost all the smart home brands, plays all types of music- sounds okay

I only need to say I have 8 around my house. And with the update Amazon did to the dots now everyone sync and u can play same song on different rooms u can pick by rooms

It was easy to set up. Can do many things by asking instead of looking up on the internet. It is just a little weird to be talking to space or Alexa. Ask anything and she will give a answer. It is fun just asking things like who will win the Super Bowl. Would recommend buying more that one as you will find that you need them in difference rooms or areas. Only problem is you will need a smart phone to set up.
